Jimmy Uso returned to television on last week's throwback edition of SmackDown, and it sounds like a major push awaits.

(Warning: Possible major spoiler below)

According to a report from Paul Davis of WrestlingNews.co, WWE is planning a major push for both Jimmy and Jey Uso, who are working with Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

The report states "the next several months are mapped out for Reigns and his faction."  Apparently, WWE has a plan in place for The Usos to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championships "from a babyface faction."

As Davis pointed out, this means that Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler — a heel duo — will have to lose the SmackDown Tag Team Championships to a babyface duo.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens, but there's obviously a strong chance that Roode and Ziggler lose the tag team titles to Dominik and Rey Mysterio at this Sunday's WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view.

Jimmy suffered an ACL tear at WrestleMania 36, which wound up keeping him out of action for over a year.

With Jimmy sidelined, WWE gave Jey a massive singles push. He challenged Reigns for the Universal Championship at the Clash of Champions and Hell in a Cell pay-per-views, with the latter winning on both occasions.

Jey turned heel on the Oct. 30 episode of SmackDown and aligned himself with Reigns after brutally attacking Daniel Bryan. With Jimmy back in action, Reigns' faction has now grown to four (with Paul Heyman).

This Sounds Perfect

Reigns is shining as the top superstar on SmackDown right now. His program with Jey has been nothing short of brilliant, too. With Jimmy back, the sky is the limit for this trio together.

WWE creative deserves plenty of credit for finding savvy ways to maximize Reigns' star power as a heel. Jey has worked tremendously with the Universal Champion, and we can expect Jimmy to do the same. In short, things are only going to get more exciting on SmackDown.
