WWE's Raw roster presents No Mercy this Sunday night live from The Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The flagship brand of WWE has tried to promote this show as one of the biggest of the year, by adding some highly anticipated matches to the card. WWE's events have seen quite the drop in audience members and ratings in recent weeks, and Raw has been hit quite hard by the fact that it is currently competing against Monday Night Football when it comes to the viewership at that time of the night.

Luckily, No Mercy could be one of the shows this year that manages to live up to the hype, especially since there isn't an NXT show the day before to be able to upstage the main show. As of writing this, there are currently just seven matches on the card and these are the 10 boldest predictions ahead of the event.

10. Bray Wyatt Will Defeat Finn Balor

Via WWE.com

Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor have been locked in a feud for the past few weeks, Wyatt drew first blood when he managed to defeat Finn on an episode of Raw ahead of SummerSlam before Finn then avenged this loss when he became The Demon once again and managed to defeat Wyatt at The Biggest Party Of The Summer.

Since SummerSlam Wyatt has claimed that Balor's Demon guise is just face paint, so Balor now goes up against Wyatt on Sunday night without his Demon persona. Wyatt has made an example of Goldust in the build-up to this match and showed him that he is just a man who wears face paint, and after a number of losses that Bray has already suffered this year, it seems likely that Wyatt will be able to get back to his winning ways on Sunday night.

9. Jason Jordan Will Become Intercontinental Champion

Via WWE.com

Jason Jordan has been on a mission to prove himself ever since it was revealed that he was the illegitimate son of Kurt Angle a few weeks ago. He has had standout matches against Roman Reigns and John Cena in recent weeks before he won the six-pack challenge on Raw this past Monday night to become the number one Contender to the Intercontinental Championship.

Jordan has had his own run-ins with The Miz and The Miztourage over the past few weeks, and given the fact that The Miz had some less than pleasant words to say about his father nothing will make him happier than to take the title away from him and lift his first piece of singles gold in WWE.

8. Neville Will Retain His Cruiserweight Championship

Via WWE.com

Neville's move to the Cruiserweight Division was one of the best decisions WWE ever made when it comes to his WWE career. Neville has had some of the best matches of his career in recent months and Enzo Amore's move over to 205 Live has obviously turned the Champion's head.

Enzo has been beaten and brutalized over the past few weeks by Braun Strowman and The Miz and doesn't seem to have any momentum heading into the match on Sunday night. Given the kind of Champion that Neville has been over the past few months, it is highly unlikely that Enzo will be able to take that title out of his grasp.

7. The Hardy Boys And The Club Will Have A Match Of The Night

Even though Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will be defending their Tag Team Championships against former champions Cesaro and Sheamus at No Mercy, in recent weeks, The Hardy Boys and The Club have played a huge role in the build-up to this match.

Since there isn't a kickoff show match currently announced for the event in just a few days time, it is likely that WWE could decide to have The Hardys face off against Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows on the pre-show instead. If the teams are not used at the beginning of the show, then expect there to be some form of interference in the Tag Team Championship match so that this feud can be continued over the next few weeks.

6. Seth Rollins And Dean Ambrose Will Retain Their Championships

Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose defeated Cesaro and Sheamus at SummerSlam just over a month ago to lift the Tag Team Championships as a duo for the first time. It will feel just like old times with the former Shield teammates even though Cesaro and Sheamus have tried to come between them by bringing up the time Rollins turned on his former brother.

It is highly likely that when Rollins and Ambrose do go their separate ways, that it will be Ambrose turning heel this time, but that won't be for a while yet. Ambrose and Rollins are still trying to make an impact as a team and defeating the former Champions once again on Sunday night will definitely allow them to do this.

5. Asuka Will Make Her Presence Known In The Women's Division

Via Sportswiki.com

Asuka held the NXT Women's Championship for more than 500 days before she decided to relinquish her crown and head to the main roster a few weeks ago. Asuka is still undefeated and it has been announced that she will be joining the Raw Women's Division in the not too distant future.

Askua isn't a new superstar who needs to be built from the ground up. If the company want to make an impact with her and want the Women's Division to stand out once again, then Asuka should appear on Sunday night and attack whoever the Champion at the time is, or at least put them on notice. Asuka is the strongest female wrestler in all of WWE right now so it would make sense if she was to make her presence known following the match this weekend.

4. Alexa Bliss Will Retain Her Raw Women's Championship

Via WWE.com

Bayley made her return to WWE on Monday Night and inserted herself into this fatal five-way match for the Women's Championship, which further stacks the odds against current Champion Alexa Bliss.

Nia Jax, Sasha Banks, and Emma make up the rest of the field in the only women's match of the night, but it appears Alexa would be considered the favourite to win this match regardless. Sasha has already won the title earlier this year before she lost it straight back to Alexa. Nia will be ganged up on because she is the biggest woman in the match and Emma wasn't even part of Raw this past week. Bayley has just returned from injury, so it is unlikely that she will win back the Championship, especially since WWE made a mess of her first Championship reign earlier this year.

3. Roman Reigns And John Cena Will Fight It Out To A No Contest

Via WWE.com

Roman Reigns and John Cena collide for the first time in a one-on-one match in what is being billed as a dream WWE match. Over the past few weeks, Reigns and Cena have exchanged a number of insults in some of the best promos that Monday Night Raw has ever seen, as a way to build the hype ahead of this match.

Reigns hasn't won a match on pay-per-view since he defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania back in April, and it seems highly unlikely that Cena will be putting Reigns over since this feud has become deeply personal, so the only way this match could end without a clear winner is if there is interference from an outsider.

2. Braun Strowman Will Win The Universal Championship

Via WWE.com

Braun Strowman has been on an incredible run in WWE over the past few months and finally, he has been handed a one-on-one shot at the Universal Champion. Brock Lesnar has been dominated by The Monster Among Men over the past few weeks as Braun has shown Brock that Suplex City isn't the only place that can be visited on Sunday night.

Lesnar isn't booked for another WWE show this year after No Mercy, which means that Raw will be without a Universal Champion until The Royal Rumble next year if WWE allows Brock to walk out with the title. It is hoped that WWE will roll the dice and allow Braun to walk out with the Championship, rather than leave their flagship show without a main Champion for the next four months.

1. Undertaker Will Make His WWE Return

via wwe.com

The Undertaker hasn't been seen in WWE since he was defeated by Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33 back in April. Recent comments that were made by John Cena in promos aimed towards Reigns have begun speculation that The Deadman could be returning to face Cena in the coming months.

It is rumoured that Undertaker could return to interfere in the match between Cena and Reigns and go on to set up a match with the former 16-time World Champion at Survivor Series. Cena and Undertaker were set for a match at WrestleMania 32 last year but Cena was not cleared to compete and Undertaker faced Shane McMahon instead. It seems now that WWE wants another dream match to take place in the near future and since The Undertaker has been seen training for a WWE return, this Sunday would be the perfect time.
