WWE Superstars all earn different amounts of money for their performances on WWE TV, this is determined on the contract that they agreed to and then signed. The likes of Brock Lesnar and John Cena are on much more money than many of the current rosters even though they are considered part time stars right now, but this is because they are seen as a draw by the company. There are many WWE stars who don't actually earn all that much because their contracts only allow them to earn around two or three hundred thousand a year, which is why they are usually much smarter with their money.

There are a number of superstars who earn so much that they are able to be flashy with their money and buy extravagant things, whereas on the other end of the spectrum there are stars who don't earn that much but are somehow still able to show off with their money. Many stars realize that their wrestling career won't last forever and decide to be sensible with money and save for the future, these are the smart WWE stars. There are others who don't do this and it seems that they could be in for a shock in the future.

Here are 10 WWE stars who spend way too much (and 5 who are ridiculously cheap)

15 15. Spend: The New Day

The New Day is a trio of superstars who are not paid a very high wage in the WWE and are often stuck at the bottom of the list when WWE release the earnings of their wrestlers at the end of each year.

Despite this, The New Day are the ones who are often seen with new ring attire, new merchandise, and even their own branded microphones, which means that the money for them must be coming from somewhere. WWE doesn't always pay for superstars to have new ring attire made, which means that between them the trio must be spending a lot of money on their constant wardrobe changes, just so that they all match. They made a special costume just for the July 4th episode of SmackDown that will probably never be worn again, which is a complete waste.

14 14. Spend: Randy Orton

Randy Orton is well-known for the lifestyle that wrestling has allowed him to lead over the past few years, but it seems that all of his material possessions were laid bare when his wife filed for divorce back in 2013.

Orton has a Bentley, a Range Rover and a Harley Davidson as well as having an impressive gun collection. He lives in a mansion style house and has a number of six-figure bank accounts. Following the divorce, Orton was also forced to pay $4,500 a month in child support costs to his ex-wife to help raise his daughter Alana. Orton has since moved on to remarry and now has four children living with him and his new wife Kim, which means he can definitely no longer be frivolous with his money.

13 13. Cheap: Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan is one of the biggest known wrestling stars in the world and his life was seemingly going well for him, up until his wife Linda filed for divorce after it was reported that he had an affair. The divorce crippled Hogan and left him in a state where he said that he thought about committing suicide because he was basically bankrupt.

It seems that this part of his life acted as a way to push Hogan into the life he has now with his new wife where he is currently living off the money that he was awarded from the Gawker lawsuit. Hogan's lavish lifestyle may be behind him, and the near bankruptcy may have been a huge dose of reality for him but perhaps it was what he needed so that he could see that the way he used to live lead him to the brink and left him fearing for his future.

12 12. Spend: Ric Flair

There isn't a single superstar in WWE that comes close to the spending that Ric Flair did back in his day. The gimmick that Flair portrayed in the ring was exactly the way he was in real life. He blew a lot of money on women and clubs and limousines when he was first coming up in WWE and it got him into a lot of debt.

This debt became so large a few years ago that Flair almost went to prison before someone stepped forward and wiped the debts away for him and allowed him to just about escape spending time behind bars. It seems that following four divorces Flair doesn't have the kind of money he used to be able to throw around the town anymore, so he now enjoys a much quieter lifestyle outside of WWE.

11 11. Spend: Nikki Bella

Nikki Bella is one of the biggest female stars in WWE. She is currently taking a hiatus from the company while she appears on Dancing With The Stars, but it seems that Nikki is earning enough money from WWE that to be able to continue living her lavish lifestyle.

Nikki often appears on episodes of Total Divas and Total Bellas where she goes out for meals practically every day,  jumps on a plane all the time to go and see her family and has a closet that most women would die for. On top of that she has her own company, which must have also cost a lot of money to set up. It probably doesn't hurt that she also has a very rich fiancé, but we will discuss John Cena further down this list.

10 10. Cheap: Natalya

Natalya is another cast member who has been part of Total Divas over the past few years and it seems that unlike the women who surround her on a daily basis, Nattie is actually very smart when it comes to spending money.

Nattie has her own home with Tyson Kidd and seems much happier with her family life and her cats than she does with material possessions. Of course, Nattie has been raised around money after coming from one of the most famous wrestling families in history. After being with WWE for more than a decade now, it could be argued that Natalya has had to become much smarter with her money over the years, while the other women are still getting used to being able to buy anything they want.

9 9. Spend: Lana

Lana was a dancer and actress before she came to WWE and it seems that she has become accustomed to the lifestyle that she currently lives. When Lana was added to the cast of Total Divas the WWE Universe was finally able to see the kind of life that Lana lives and it seems that she spends a lot of money on a regular basis.

Lana and Rusev are always taking trips to Bulgaria and other countries so that they can have vacations. Lana is always seen shopping and when it came to her wedding, she had to have two of them, which could not have been cheap. Lana was reportedly the lowest paid wrestler on WWE's main roster in 2016, so she should really be a bit more cautious with her money.

8 8. Spend: Big Cass And Carmella

Carmella and Big Cass have been coming through the ranks in WWE over the past few years and the couple have finally made their biggest purchase together when they decided to buy a house. The couple shared the above picture on Instagram of their new home together that appears to have set them back quite a lot of money.

This is a huge commitment for two stars that are not married, but this major purchase will be one of the main focuses of their first season on Total Divas. Cass and Carmella are relatively new to the lifestyle as main roster superstars, but it will be interesting to see how they have adjusted to a new life, including not being able to see each other regularly and appearing on the hit E! Network show.

7 7. Cheap: Dean Ambrose

Dean Ambrose was raised in public housing for most of his life and was taught the value of money at a very young age, so it makes sense that he is a superstar who doesn't like spending a lot of money. During his time on Total Divas Ambrose was shown not wanting to spend too much money on dates out with his wife, often choosing to stay in with a pizza and a beer.

It seems that Ambrose was taught well by his mother and is one of the stars that was so used to getting by with no money in the bank that he is finding it hard to adjust. Ambrose is much more like his on-screen character than many of the WWE Universe actually give him credit for.

The Miz and Maryse are WWE's IT couple. They not only live a Hollywood lifestyle on-screen, but appear to live an equally lavish lifestyle off-scren as well. While being part of Total Divas, the WWE Universe was given an insight into the lives of the two stunning superstars and it's clear that they live a rich lifestyle, as showcased by the incredible size of their house.

Obviously the two of them earn enough money to be able to live that kind of lifestyle and The Miz is one of the stars on the roster who works hard enough that he deserves to spend his money on whatever he wants. It's a stark contrast compared to the way that much of the world lives their lives, but this is just the life that comes with fame and fortune.

5 5. Spend: John Cena

John Cena is definitely a superstar that needs to be on this list. Cena's extravagant lifestyle has been seen on both Total Divas and Total Bellas and the size of his house, complete with an outdoor swimming pool, is absolutely shocking.

John Cena has been part of WWE now for more than 15 years and has many projects outside of the company that also supplement his income. This means that he is earning a lot of money and so deserves to spend it as he wishes. Cena surprisingly also has a huge collection of classic cars that he mostly keeps locked away in his garage, but must have cost him a pretty penny to buy. Cena is a smart man who knows what to spend his money on and what not to, it just seems that he can afford some really extravagant things.

Sasha Banks may play The Boss on WWE TV, but outside of her character she is said to live a quiet lifestyle. Sasha isn't pictured along with many other stars when the women of WWE decide to go out on the town, and often complains when WWE fans manage to find her when she is out in public.

Sasha doesn't like the WWE Universe approaching her in public and intruding on her private life, so she often tries to keep a low profile when she isn't performing for WWE. Sasha is so private about her life outside of WWE that she managed to keep her wedding to Sarath Ton a secret for almost six months. Sasha may have been accustomed to a different lifestyle when she was part of the Independent Circuit, and it appears she doesn't want to change her way of living now that she is a household name.

3 3. Spend: Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is the current WWE Universal Champion and a former UFC Champion. He is used to being at the top of his game and last year he became the highest paid wrestler in WWE when it was revealed that he earned $12 million for just a handful of WWE appearances.

It was reported that Lesnar costs WWE so much to have at events because he has his own private plane that takes him to the events and then straight back home. Brock doesn't like people and has purposely ensured he is away from them by buying a house in the middle of nowhere that isn't within walking distance of any kind of city or town. Lesnar obviously decides the terms of his contracts and if WWE is willing to accept them then he can spend the money however he wants.

2 2. Spend: Enzo Amore

Enzo Amore has turned a lot of heads in WWE over the past few months and managed to make a lot of enemies because of his constant partying and spending on the most ridiculous things.

Enzo recently made headlines because he shelled out more than $10,000 for a ringside ticket to Conor McGregor against Floyd Mayweather and has a reported obsession with visiting strip clubs. Enzo worked at Hooters before he was signed by WWE so he obviously has a thing for beautiful women, but perhaps he should think of the future when it comes to spending money, especially if he keeps making enemies backstage. Enzo's constant partying and hanging out with famous Hollywood stars is starting to attract him the wrong kind of attention with WWE officials and he may need the money he is throwing away in the near future.

1 1. Cheap: Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella

Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella have a picture perfect lifestyle. Brie is so different to her sister Nikki that it's hard to even believe that they are actually twins. Brie and Daniel are happy with their small house that is just big enough for their family and often tries to find new ways to recycle and reuse the things that they have.

Daniel comes from a poor background and it seems that he was never going to be seduced by the money he earns in WWE and he and Brie have the same kind of outlook. The couple doesn't even eat meat because of the beliefs that they have and at one point Bryan was trying to find a way to recycle their actual excrement into something that was reusable, which is pretty gross.
