There are many roads in WWE, but there is only one road that leads to WrestleMania and that begins on Sunday night at the 30th Annual Royal Rumble event.

Live from The Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, this year's Rumble looks set to be one of the biggest in the history of the company with Brock Lesnar, Goldberg and The Undertaker all in the same match for the first time.

As well as one of the most anticipated Rumble matches in years, WWE has also announced seven other matches for Sunday night, which include bouts for the Universal, WWE, Raw Tag Team, Raw Women's, and the Cruiserweight Championship.

Ahead of what is set to be a history making, record breaking night for WWE, here are 15 bold predictions for The 2017 Royal Rumble event.

15. Mickie James Will Have A Dominant Re-Debut

via wwe.com

Mickie James made her WWE return two weeks ago when she was unveiled as La Luchadora and WWE have set up a fantastic storyline on SmackDown that sees Mickie and Alexa Bliss going against all the women that said they were part of the Divas Revolution.

Becky Lynch, Naomi, and Nikki Bella were all part of this and it seems that this is why Alexa, Mickie, and Natalya have joined forces since Natalya was forgotten when the Divas Revolution was taking place. The six women collide in a Six-Woman Tag Team match on Sunday night that will represent the SmackDown Women's Division. Mickie's team has to come out on top here and she has to prove that she really did start the revolution long before it was trending on Twitter.

14. Kevin Owens Will Lose The Universal Championship

via wwe.com

Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns have been fighting over the Universal Championship for a number of months now, and the obvious guess would be that Roman could be set to leave the Royal Rumble with Raw's biggest championship. Roman lost the United States Championship a few weeks ago on Raw to Chris Jericho and it is believed that this was so that he could pick up the Universal title instead.

Mick Foley has ensured that Chris Jericho is out of the way in a shark tank above the ring. This means that it will be a fair match between Owens and Reigns, but it will be the former Shield member who walks out of The Alamodome with the Universal Championship.

13. Nia Jax Will Continue To Squash Sasha Banks

via wwe.com

Poor Sasha Banks. She's gone from being the Raw Women's Champion a month ago, to being Nia Jax' squash toy. Nia has taken a lot out of Sasha over the past few weeks and it seems that 'The Boss' is finally set to stand up for herself.

This past week on Raw, Sasha proved that she had what it takes to knock Nia off her feet, but it will be interesting to see if she is able to become just the second woman to defeat Nia on the main roster. Sasha's injured knee will definitely play a part in the match and it is likely that Nia will continue the beating that she began a few weeks ago.

12. Karl Anderson And Luke Gallows Will Become Tag Team Champions

via wwe.com

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have not been given a fair shake since they came to WWE last year. Now that The New Day are focused on The Royal Rumble match, The Club seemed like the obvious choice to step into the Tag Team Championship picture. Two weeks ago Gallows and Anderson proved that they can win the titles and this past week on Raw Gallows also defeated Cesaro.

The Club deserve a chance to hold Tag titles in the WWE. They were once part of one of the greatest stables in professional wrestling, and this should be their moment. Cesaro and Sheamus were only ever going to be placeholders so this would be a fantastic time to give The Club the belts.

11. Charlotte Will Retain Against Bayley

via wwe.com

Charlotte is the undisputed 'Queen of Pay-Per-View.' She has lost just one Pay-Per-View match since she made her main roster debut back in the Summer of 2015. This bout was a Tag Team match with Dana Brooke and it was Dana who was pinned at Battleground last year.

Charlotte has won ever singles match she has been part of on Pay-Per-View and she puts her 15-0 record on the line on Sunday night. A win over Bayley would give Charlotte the 16th win she so desperately wants, obviously so that she can make the link to her father. Bayley isn't ready to take the title just yet. But she will be, and it will be a much bigger celebration on a much bigger stage when she does.

10. Neville Will Become The Real King Of The Cruiserweights

via wwe.com

Neville's new look and attitude have done so much for him over the past few weeks and he is right in saying that he has been overlooked a lot throughout his career. The British star is a former NXT Champion and he deserved a lot more than WWE were giving him, so his new attitude has been a long awaited change.

Neville has proved that he has what it takes to take the Division on to greater things in the future and has the WWE Universe talking about he Cruiserweights. This can only be a good thing. Neville can take the division forward to new heights and this means taking the title from Rich Swann on Sunday night.

9. A.J. Styles Will Stop John Cena From Making History

via wwe.com

It has been building for the past few months and finally, it seems that John Cena has the opportunity to equal Ric Flair's long-standing championship reign record. Much of the build-up has been about the fact that A.J. Styles is just a guy from Atlanta or that he isn't good enough to stand in the ring with John Cena.

2016 was undoubtedly the year of A.J. Styles and the TNA legend deserves to prove that he is not only good enough to be in the ring with Cena but he is so much better than him in the ring as well. A.J. is the 'Champ That Runs the Camp' and on Sunday night, John Cena and the CeNation will learn that the hard way.

8. Nia Jax Will Become The Fourth Female To Participate In The Match

via wwedivadelux.tumblr.com

It could well be the boldest prediction on the entire list, but if Nia makes light work of Sasha Banks in their match on the Kickoff show, then she could easily recover in time for her to make a shock entrance in the Royal Rumble.

Nia has been portrayed as a dominant force on the Raw roster ever since her debut and the obvious next step would be to put Nia in the Rumble and allow her to show her dominance in a ring full of men. Every female who has been in the Rumble so far has managed to eliminate one Superstar before they were then eliminated, so it would be interesting to see who she eliminates if she is allowed to participate.

7. Chris Jericho Will Find A Way To Help Kevin Owens

Chris Jericho may well be hanging above the ring in a shark tank, but he will still find a way to help his best friend in his match against Roman Reigns. The problem is, Jericho could well be the reason that Owens loses his match and then he will blame Jericho because he has a title and Owens doesn't.

There have been rumours that suggest that Owens and Jericho are set to collide at WrestleMania and this could be the beginning of a highly anticipated feud between the two stars. Remember the match is No-Disqualification, so anything can happen and everything is legal once that bell rings.

6. Brock Lesnar And Goldberg Will Collide Once Again

via forbes.com

Goldberg defeated Brock Lesnar in less than two minutes back in November and ever since then 'The Beast' has been begging for revenge. These two step in the ring together again for the first time and it will be interesting to see if they are actually allowed to collide in the match.

Many of the WWE Universe have predicted that one will be eliminated before the other makes their presence known, but at the same time, it could well be that Brock and Goldberg eliminate each other and then continue to brawl into the back.

5. Tye Dillinger And Samoa Joe Will Represent NXT

via youtube.com

NXT is in town,  and set for another TakeOver event on Saturday night. This means that any NXT Superstar could make their main roster debut at the Royal Rumble. Big names that have already been mentioned are Tye Dillinger and Samoa Joe.

Dillinger doesn't really have a storyline in NXT right now, and Joe hasn't been seen on the show for weeks, so they are the obvious choices when it comes to call-ups to WWE's main roster. If Tye Dillinger makes his debut in the match at number 10 then that arena will explode, so WWE has to make it happen.

4. Seth Rollins Will Find A Way Into The Rumble Match

via wwe.com

Seth Rollins has been in WWE now for four years and only played a part in one Royal Rumble match. The former Shield Member is one of the biggest stars in the company and it has been decided that he won't be part of one of the biggest matches of the year?

It's obvious that Rollins will find his way back into the Rumble and then Triple H will appear to cost him his shot at WrestleMania. Triple H as a surprise entrant was done last year, as was putting Rollins in at number one. WWE need to find an unpredictable way of putting Rollins back into the match, that the WWE Universe would find mind blowing.

3. Kurt Angle Will Be A Surprise Entrant

via wwe.com

The Olympic Gold Medalist and former WWE World Champion has already been named as the headliner for this year's WWE Hall of Fame. Kurt has also been pulled out of shows in Glasgow this weekend, meaning that Angle is free if the company decides to call upon him and allow him to be a surprise entrant on Sunday night.

Angle hasn't mentioned anything about his Rumble involvement yet, but it would be logical for WWE to involve him in the match in some way so that his inclusion in the Hall of Fame is given a much bigger boost. The WWE Universe would love to have 'The Wrestling Machine' back as well.

2. UK Tournament Star Will Make An Appearance

via wwe.com

Whether or not WWE are covering all bases as a means to troll the WWE Universe or not will only be revealed on Sunday night. Right now it seems that WWE has pulled Mark Andrew, Pete Dunne, and UK Championship winner Tyler Bate out off all their scheduled show dates for this weekend, so that they can be in San Antonio.

WWE wouldn't waste the money flying the stars across the Atlantic if there wasn't a plan in place for them, one that will hopefully see Britain represented in the Rumble match.

1. The Undertaker Will Win The Royal Rumble

via wwe.com

That's right, 10 years after The Deadman reigned supreme at The Royal Rumble, it seems that he could be set to do it all over again. Undertaker winning The Rumble allows him to set up the dream match with John Cena at WrestleMania.

Of course, it could also set up a match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania instead, since rumours now suggest that Undertaker will face a Raw superstar in April. This could well be Undertaker's final year in WWE and it would be incredible if WWE decided to allow him to have the final run that he deserves.
