WWE's hectic and strenuous schedule makes it quite difficult for its wrestlers to maintain healthy relationships with their significant other. While their are superstars such as Roman Reigns who, on the surface, has been able to maintain a healthy marriage with his wife, who is not involved with the wrestling business, the same cannot be said for all WWE's wrestlers (just ask John Cena, Hulk Hogan or Randy Orton).

As a result, it isn't uncommon for WWE's wrestlers to begin dating one another. However, while the couple may be happy, it doesn't necessarily mean that WWE's head honcho, Vince McMahon nods in approval. Moreover, these couples are almost always kept off of television due to the boss's disapproval

On the other side of the fence, there are those couples that the "Genetic Jackhammer", McMahon loves. Unsurprisingly, it isn't unusual to see these couples on screen. Here, we take a look at eight couples Vince McMahon loves and seven couples he hates.

15 15. HATES: Sasha Banks And Sarath Ton

via depor.com

It isn't a secret that Vince McMahon isn't exactly the biggest fan of the self-proclaimed Boss, Sasha Banks. In May 2016, McMahon said that he believes Banks knows only one speed, that's being all-out, and had also compared her unfavorably to Daniel Bryan, feeling she’s too injury-prone for her own good. In most cases most wrestlers would be ecstatic to be compared to Bryan. If you're Banks, you're an exception to the rule as McMahon was never fond of Bryan's style due to his injury history. As for Ton, he began as a wrestler and currently is still employed by WWE, albeit as a costume designer. Something tells me this is not the career Ton envisioned for himself when he joined WWE.

14 14. LOVES: Jimmy Uso And Naomi

via wwe.com

The Usos are currently in the midst of their third reign as tag champions and their first reign as SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Naomi is currently in the midst of her second reign as SmackDown Women's Champion. All is well in the Fatu household! Jimmy, along with his brother Jey, have been one of, if not the WWE's best tag team since the decade started, and they have done well to reinvent themselves in both the face and heel role. Naomi serves as arguably the most likable character on "Total Divas" and is quite the asset in the ring as well due to her athletic ability. Jimmy and Naomi are solid workers and have crossover appeal which makes them a pair that McMahon can only approve of.

13 13. HATES: Big Cass And Carmella

via pinterest.com

Debuting on the night after WrestleMania 32, the tag team duo of Enzo and Big Cass received a raucous inaugural ovation from the post-Mania crowd. "Smacktalker Skywalker" and "Big Cass Parmesan" had finally made it to the main roster, but someone was missing, and that was the "Princess of Staten Island." Onscreen, Carmella served in a managerial role for Enzo and Cass, while offscreen, Carmella and Big Cass were involved in a very real life relationship. Enzo and Cass have done just fine without Carmella on the main roster and it can be argued that Carmella wouldn't have added much, if anything, to their gimmick. Then again, it can also be argued that Carmella wouldn't have hurt the pair's gimmick. McMahon must've deemed their relationship- wait for it- S-A-W-F-T!

12 12. LOVES: Edge And Beth Phoenix

Edge and Beth Phoenix
via wwe.com

So, Vince McMahon probably isn't as big a fan of Beth Phoenix and Edge as he was of Edge and Lita because it doesn't really get much better than that for television ratings. Phoenix was just inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of its 2017 class, whereas her husband Edge was inducted five years prior in 2012. Both Edge and Phoenix enjoyed tremendous success in the WWE, especially Edge. Phoenix is a three-time Women's Champion, a one-time Divas Champion and is one of just three women to enter the WWE Royal Rumble (with the other two being Chyna and Kharma). Edge is not just a seven-time World Heavyweight Champion and a four-time WWE Champion, but is one who had success in the mid-card and in the tag scene as well, as evidenced by his five Intercontinental Championship reigns and 14 Tag Team Championship reigns.

11 11. HATES: CM Punk And AJ Lee

via cagesideseats.com

The divorce between CM Punk and the WWE has been well-publicized ever since January 27th, 2014, when Punk walked out on the company. Later on in the year Punk elaborated on why he left saying, "I was sick and hurt, and sick and tired, and burnt out, and I walked. And, I can do that because I'm an independent contractor". The lack of creative direction in WWE didn't help in keeping Punk interested in competing for McMahon's promotion any longer either. To add salt to the wound, Punk was given his termination papers on his wedding day. McMahon claims this was simply coincidence, but this is clearly up for debate. McMahon likely doesn't hold resentment for Lee. However, due to the fact that Lee is married to Punk, she is guilty by association.

10 10. LOVES: Cesaro And Sara Del Rey

via sportskeeda.com

The Internet Wrestling Community will be quick to point out that Vince McMahon hates Cesaro, as he has never been properly pushed by the company. In fairness, this isn't a statement that is totally out of left field as, Cesaro has all the tools to not just be in the WWE Championship or WWE Universal Championship picture, but also has all the tools to hold either of the two forenamed belts. Cesaro is arguably the company's best worker, is over with the fans and has international appeal. McMahon is aware of this as Cesaro can be plugged in anywhere on the card and shine.

Del Rey is the female version of Jason Albert (better known as Albert or Tensai) in NXT as she preps the women for WWE's main roster. With the likes of Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Charlotte and Becky Lynch being some of the names that have trained under Del Rey, how could McMahon have a gripe with Del Rey?

9 9. HATES: Alexa Bliss And Buddy Murphy

via dailywrestlingnews.com

At one time Alexa Bliss served as the manager for Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy in NXT. The tag duo even reached the pinnacle of the tag division as they held the belts for an impressive 219 days. However, that was in what seems like an eternity ago as their reign ended in August of 2015. The tag team failed to establish themselves as a threat from that point forward in the tag division, and are nothing more than an afterthought in today's NXT tag team division as they're clearly behind the likes of AOP, DIY and even TM-61. Bliss, on the other hand, has thrived on the main roster and has showcased that she's obviously the more talented of the couple. Rest easy, Alexa, it isn't you; it's Murphy.

8 8. LOVES: The Miz And Maryse

via wwe.com

WWE's resident "It Couple" have been married since 2014 and have been an onscreen pairing for just a tad over a year now. The two have provided the WWE Universe with a number of memorable moments since aligning on television as they are in real life beginning with Maryse's debut on the post-WrestleMania Raw in 2016 which paved the way for The Miz to capture the Intercontinental Championship from Zack Ryder (who had just won the title at WrestleMania 32). The two's imitations of Nikki Bella and John Cena have also made for mockery that would even make The Miz's former stunt double, Damien Sandow, proud. The Miz is one of the company's best workers on the mic, has Hollywood appeal and having the attractive Maryse at his side doesn't hurt whatsoever. Their work has been stellar since Maryse reemerged in the WWE and their move to the "A show" Monday Night Raw is an indication of it.

7 7. HATES: Rusev And Lana

via wrestling-edge.com

In June of 2015, when it had come to light that Rusev and Lana were engaged in real life, Vince McMahon was reportedly furious. So furious that his end game was to actually break up Rusev and Lana... IN REAL LIFE! Per the Wrestling Observer, McMahon's opinion was as follows: "Vince feels that most likely Dolph Ziggler, who is said to be single, is a better match for Lana. Plus, they work very well as an on-screen couple when Lana is a babyface. So, in one of the most petty things possible, Vince McMahon is literally trying to break up a WWE couple just because he feels they aren’t right for the other. Not out of them having fights or no chemistry, but because he looks at Rusev as a person who doesn’t have the looks, among other things, that should attract Lana". Is it a surprise that Rusev hasn't been much of a threat ever since? It's okay, Ru-Ru. I think we'd all opt for Lana anyway!

6 6. LOVES: John Cena And Nikki Bella

via metro.co.uk

While the WWE Universe showers the John Cena and Nikki Bella-imitating duo of The Miz and Maryse with love and cheers, the same cannot be said for Bella and Cena. Despite what the WWE Universe may think, the boss is clearly a fan of the two. Bella serves as the face of not just Total Divas, but has even parlayed that into her own show along with twin sister Brie, Total Bellas. Cena is the company's golden boy and has been for over a decade now. The two have had their relationship highlighted a number of times on "Total Divas" in Cena's home, on dinner dates and so on and so forth. With the pair getting engaged at WrestleMania 33, the boss can only nod in approval due to the extra publicity the company gained from it.

5 5. HATES: Zack Ryder And Emma

via cagesideseats.com

Buried time and time again, at least Zack Ryder can rest easy knowing that he gets to come home to Emma each and every night. Ryder's never gotten a fair shake in WWE despite getting himself over via his YouTube show, Z! True Long Island Story, and doing so without the help of the WWE machine. By showcasing his personality on his YouTube show Ryder became an endearing personality for WWE's fans as he was a lovable underdog. After years of jobbing, it looked like WWE finally was giving Ryder the ball and allowing him to run with it when Ryder won the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 32. That is until the following night when Ryder inexplicably lost the belt. To make matters worse he never became a serious contender for the belt ever again.

As for Emma, she was given a gimmick of "Emmalina" which, combined with a previous injury, kept her off television for close to half a year, only to have the gimmick abandoned. It doesn't take a genius to see that McMahon isn't a fan of these two.

4 4. LOVES: The Undertaker And Michelle McCool

via youtube.com

Vince McMahon has never been shy about declaring his love and appreciation for The Undertaker, as he has frequently said that the Deadman is his favorite WWE superstar of all-time. When you combine Taker's loyalty to WWE, his marketability and being almost as big as WrestleMania itself, it's easy to see why McMahon holds The Undertaker in such high regard. As a result, it's hard (maybe even impossible) for 'Taker to do wrong in McMahon's eyes. The Undertaker has had countless achievements throughout his two decade-plus long career. McCool also had a successful career in WWE as evidenced by her two reigns as WWE Divas Champion and two reigns as WWE Women's Champion. This is the third marriage for the former "American Bad Ass" and it looks like "the third time is a charm," as the saying goes.

3 3. HATES: Brock Lesnar And Sable

via wrestlingeveryday.blogspot.com

In 1999, Sable filed a lawsuit against WWE for a whopping $110 million as she claimed she had been sexually harassed on numerous occasions throughout her tenure with the WWE. A settlement was reached outside of court for an undisclosed amount. Lesnar is no stranger to having his own lawsuit with WWE as when he left the company in 2004, there was a clause in his contract that prohibited him from working in professional wrestling until 2010 at earliest. Knowing this, is it any surprise that Lesnar didn't return to the promotion for eight years? Lesnar's also now bring in quite the pretty penny annually as he's working a schedule fit for a king. McMahon may have won the race, but Lesnar not just won the marathon, but is winning the marathon as we speak.

2 2. LOVES: Stephanie McMahon And Triple H

via wrestlingnews.co

Well, one is Vincent Kennedy McMahon's daughter and the other is his son-in-law and potential heir apparent to the WWE throne. How could McMahon dislike his own daughter, Stephanie, and her husband, Triple H? But, if you go back to the late nineties and early-2000s this actually would've been the case (for Triple H) as it was strictly forbidden for a wrestler to date Stephanie. Hunter and Stephanie's storyline in which the two were married after a heel Hunter drugged Stephanie was ironically foreshadowing for what would occur down the road in actuality. Hunter risked his career by carrying on a relationship with Stephanie, as if things turned sour it's likely he would've been booted from the company. Thankfully for him, that's not the case and he remains with Stephanie to this day.

1 1. HATES: Alberto Del Rio And Paige

via comicbook.com

Alberto Del Rio is a former two-time WWE Champion and a former two-time World Heavyweight Champion. Paige is a former two-time WWE Divas Champion (having first won the title on the night of her main roster debut) and is the inaugural NXT Women's Champion. In other words, at one point, McMahon clearly had high hopes for the two.

In present day, however, McMahon's not a fan of either. Del Rio has spoken out openly about the company since departing in 2016, and not in flattering terms that applaud the company. In Paige's case, unless you've been living under a rock for the past month, you know her NSFW pictures and videos haven't done anything to help her standing within the company. Moreover, it's surprising that she hasn't been given her walking papers as of yet.
