Now that the Shield is back together, AJ Styles wants a piece of them alongside his New Japan buddies. It finally happened. What so many in the WWE universe had been hoping to see ever since they broke up. This past week on Raw, The Shield got back together. So, what is the next stable to reunite? Well, AJ Styles has hinted that it could be The Club.

AJ Styles, along with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, are all previous members of The Bullet Club from New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor and a little while after they all arrived in the WWE they debut as The Club on the May 9, 2016, episode of Raw.

But today, The Club is no more, with Styles performing on the SmackDown Live brand while Anderson and Gallows are over on Raw (although, they haven’t been doing much these days). But just because they aren’t together now, doesn’t mean they won't be getting back together in the future.

In fact, Styles hinted at that possibility in an interview he did with Spanish site Planeta Wrestling. And if they did get back together and faced, the newly reformed, The Shield does Styles think they would do well?

“Absolutely. I think that if Gallows and Anderson and I got together, we would dominate just like we’ve done before. There’s no doubt about it.”

Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins entered the WWE with a bang in 2012 and actually had an undefeated television streak that lasted from December  2012 to May 2013. They continued their dominance for another year until Rollins sided with The Authority and turned on his friends with the help of a selfish attitude and a steel chair. And that was the end of The Shield. Until this week.

Things started to look like they were heading this way when Ambrose and Rollins were able to put their past behind them and form a tag team that would actually go on to win the Raw Tag Team Championship.

Then, the next step was getting Roman Reigns back in the fold, and after being attacked and humiliated by The Miz, his Miztourage as well as Cesaro and Sheamus, Roman was ready to get the band back together.

Now, there haven't  been any hints that The Club is on the path to reforming, but it is safe to say that if they did then a Shield vs. Club match would be a huge event for the WWE to promote!
