There’s no question that some of the most beautiful women in the world are drawn to the business we know as professional wrestling. There are some who are life-long fans, that spend their entire childhood dreaming of becoming WWE superstars. That being said, there are also more than a few who hoped to use the fame they acquired from wrestling to become actresses, models, or even reality TV stars. It’s a tough business that requires constant travel and time away from family and loved ones. However, there is little doubt that wrestling fans are very glad these 15 beauties decided to make that sacrifice. While these women come from a variety backgrounds and share vastly different life experiences they all have one thing in common and that is a gorgeous head of blonde hair.
There is an old saying that “Gentlemen prefer blondes.” If this is true, these lovely ladies listed would seem to suggest that the Gentlemen out there really know what they’re talking about. There are more than a few champions who made the top 15. In fact, many of the most successful women in the sport happen to be blondes, which may not be a coincidence. Don’t worry, I’m not going to keep you in suspense any longer, so let’s get started.
15. Alexa Bliss
After being somewhat lost in the shuffle during her time in WWE’s developmental promotion NXT, Bliss has made quite a name for herself since arriving on Smackdown. When she debuted on Smackdown with her new Harley Quinn persona, comic book fans around the world could feel their hearts pounding. She even went on to defeat Becky Lynch and become the Smackdown Women’s Champion. Though she recently lost her title to Namoi at The Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, she has solidified her status as one of the top female acts on the current roster. The 5 foot 1 blonde from Columbus, Ohio has a bright future ahead of her. I’m sure there are more than a few guys out there who look forward to watching her career unfold.
14. Michelle McCool
McCool is actually a former teacher who taught 7th-grade science in her home state of Florida. If the hit Van Halen song “Hot For Teacher” immediately pops into your head, you probably aren’t alone. WWE even incorporated her background in education, when they had her portray a sexy teacher during the early part of her career. McCool would go on to have quite a run in the WWE. She was the first ever WWE Divas Champion and is a four-time world title holder in the women’s division. You may have also heard of her husband the nearly 7 foot tall WWE legend know as the Undertaker. As hot as she may be, this may be a not be the lady you want to practice your pick up lines on, or you may find yourself on the wrong end of a tombstone piledriver, courtesy of The Undertaker.
13. Maryse Ouellet
Recent fans of the WWE probably best know Ouellet as the wife of self-proclaimed A-lister, The Miz. However, prior to becoming her husbands on screen manager, the stunning French Canadian had a solid wrestling career of her own. Ouellet won the WWE Divas Championship on two separate occasions. She was the former Miss Hawaiian Tropic Canada in 2003 and was also a former cover girl for Playboy magazine. She is currently a cast member on the E television series Total Divas, alongside other WWE starlets. Oh and I almost forgot to mention she appeared in the Sci-Fi cult classic Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! When comes to describing Maryse, as her husband would say, she truly is “awesome.”
The former Homecoming Queen and Mrs. Texas USA pageant winner certainly made her mark in WWE. She became WWF Women’s Champion by beating Sable in an evening gown match. Despite the fact that Debra initially lost the bout, the then WWE commissioner Shawn Micheals reversed the decision and awarded Debra the title. Durning her time with the company Debra was known as southern belle with ample bosoms, which commentator Jerry Lawler often referred to as the puppies. The busty native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama often wore low cut skirts with a top that accentuated her her chest. Debra was a true southern charmer who is remembered fondly by fans of WWE’s attitude era.
Despite being born in the United Stares, Lana Portray’s a sexy Russian on screen, who helps here her real life husband Rusev gain the upper hand in the squared circle. She did, however, spend several years of her childhood Latvian SSR where she trained to become a ballet dancer. Lana, who’s real name is Catherine Perry also had a brief stint as a pop singer for the all-female group No Means Yes. When recounting her audition for the group she stated “A girlfriend of mine in college referred me to the man that was putting the group together. I honestly was so scared to sing and I didn’t even know a song to sing at the audition so I sang “Jesus Loves Me”. I remember them saying “we can work with her tone because she has the right look and she is a model that break dances”. Truthfully, it hard to imagine anything she wouldn’t have “the right look” for.
