Nothing is quite like WrestleMania in professional wrestling as the sports entertainment extravaganza presented by WWE on a yearly basis never really disappoints and is something which is watched all over the world. The WWE is known to take a different approach towards WrestleMania because of the number of casual fans that tune in to watch; they plan accordingly and draw up their match card so that the mega show can please both the die-hard fans as well as the casual ones.

WrestleMania 33 was pretty great as it'll always be remembered for Goldberg's last match (for now) in the WWE as well as the retirement of The Undertaker. While the event itself was pretty good, WWE has the potential of making it even better next year at New Orleans. The stakes are high and there's a wide range of options for WWE to pick from next year because of the brand split and them having a vibrant roster. Because most of their wrestlers have attained mainstream success over the years, WWE can finally produce some dream matches at WrestleMania 34.

There's a wide range of talent in the company and with some amazing superstars available on the main roster, the WWE has the possibility of producing some amazing fantasy matches at the grandest stage of them all: WrestleMania.

20 20. Brock Lesnar vs Shinsuke Nakamura

via youtube.com

"The Beast" Brock Lesnar is undoubtedly one of the most valued individuals in WWE right now as the current Universal Champion is allegedly tabbed to be Universal Champion up until Wrestlemania 34. But knowing how he's a part-timer, WWE should definitely change their plans and give Lesnar something refreshing at WrestleMania next year. They could do a storyline where Lesnar challenges anyone from the SmackDown brand and his opponent is revealed to be none other than Shinsuke Nakamura. Some might know it, but Lesnar and Nakamura have wrestled each other in the past when Brock was IWGP Champion in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Both have knowledge of MMA and can produce a really hard-hitting and entertaining match because Nakamura can definitely go toe to toe with Lesnar. This could re-ignite the "Raw vs SmackDown" feud and if booked properly, these two can produce a wrestling bout for the ages.

19 19. Jeff Hardy vs Finn Balor

via wwe.com / via wrestlingphoto.tumblr.com

Jeff Hardy is well and truly back in his old hunting ground, as the return of the Hardy Boyz fuelled many dreams matches because of the amazing talent on the roster right now. The most anticipated matchup for Jeff Hardy right now, however, is a match against Finn Balor. Knowing how much hype and potential the match has, it should be kept until WrestleMania 34. They should make Jeff a singles star again by then and face the Demon King at the grandest stage of them all. Knowing that Finn hasn't wrestled at WrestleMania yet, him facing Jeff at his first one will be great for him and knowing their stunning wrestling styles, that match will be one that'll dazzle the fans like no other.

18 18. Asuka vs Sasha Banks

via wwe.com / via twitter.com

Asuka has been quite the dominant woman ever since arriving in WWE, as she's still undefeated on NXT and is looking unstoppable at this point. She literally has nothing left to accomplish in NXT and will be given the main roster call sooner rather than later, but there's the question of who can stop her on the main roster? Cue Sasha Banks. The Boss is definitely one of the most technically capable women on WWE right now and can definitely take the fight to Asuka at an event like WrestleMania. Regardless of the result, these two can definitely wow the audience because of how amazingly gifted both of them are. Knowing their technical prowess, it could be a wrestling fans' dream to see these two go at it at WrestleMania, which would solidify them as the best and prove just how good Women's Wrestling can be.

17 17. Bobby Roode vs Randy Orton

via teamrock.com / via WWE.com

Bobby Roode's time at WWE has been quite "glorious" so far as the former NXT Champion is looking at home in the company and his impressive work has led him to join the main roster very soon. Roode is expected to be part of WrestleMania next time out, but WWE needs to put him over quickly because of his age. Roode needs someone big to put him over at WrestleMania. Who would better than Randy Orton? The Viper can actually have a really interesting feud with Roode when he's drafted to Smackdown and because of their experience and polarizing wrestling styles, it could be a really great match which would not only dazzle the audience but also make Roode a star on the main roster.

16 16. Neville vs Hideo Itami

via wwe.com / via pinterest.com

We all know that the Cruiserweight Division is never really going to get a spot on the main show at WrestleMania because of the lack of real stars. Neville has been shining extremely brightly and will be kept as the divisions' top star for a long time, but he needs a worthy opponent to shine at WrestleMania. Hideo Itami can be that opponent for them to tear the roof off as the Japanese sensation will probably get the main roster call by early next year. Itami will probably be a part of the Cruiserweight Division and they could script the perfect underdog story for him by having him challenge Neville for the Cruiserweight Title at WrestleMania 34. WWE could also put Itami over with a win, as the company could produce a technical masterpiece by letting these two go at each other.

15 15. Kurt Angle vs Samoa Joe

via flickeringmyth.com

Kurt Angle is finally back home at WWE after almost a decade away from the company and even though he's doing a great job as the General Manager of Raw, it's quite evident that he'll be back to wrestling a few matches before retiring for good. The Olympic Gold Medalist needs to have a high-profile match at Wrestlemania and instead of having a match against a part-timer, he needs to prove himself against a solid, dangerous competitor. Then who better than Samoa Joe? The Samoan Submission Machine has been extremely impressive off late and WWE could build a long-term story-line between the two as Joe snaps at one of Angle's decision against him, culminating in a match at Wrestlemania 34. They had some hard-hitting matches at TNA and could prove their superb work together at a stage like Wrestlemania where Angle could again show just how good he still is.

14 14. Big Show vs Shaq

via youtube.com

The Big Show has quite publicly announced that he will be retiring from the WWE sometime next year and even though he has become quite "stale" in the fans' mind, he deserves a last hurrah for all he's done for the company. Show is quite avid at having that Wrestlemania match against Shaquille O'Neal before riding into the sunset and the WWE should at least give him that for his immense contribution to the company over the years. They should try to sign up Shaq for the match and even though the Basketball legend doesn't have much wrestling skills, he did stand up to Show at the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal a few years ago. The match would be quite brutal and reap in a lot of casuals as well and WWE should see the money in this and grand Big Show his last wish before bows out.

13 13. Charlotte vs Ronda Rousey

via celebrityinsider.org

The Women's Division in WWE is at an all time high right now, as the company is giving them a lot of attention and has transformed it to proper wrestling instead of the "showboating" from before. "The Queen" of the Women's Division is Charlotte right now and quite rightfully at that, but WWE can definitely take it to the next level if they can get Ronda Rousey to wrestle for them at Wrestlemania 34. Charlotte can definitely handle Ronda because of how good she is right and if WWE can sign Ronda to a deal, this will reap A LOT of casuals as well. It could be wrestling vs MMA and regardless of who is victorious, the match itself will be an absolute slobber-knocker because of the mix of MMA and wrestling in it and would solidify WWE's Women's Division as the real deal right now.

12 12. Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn

via youtube.com

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn's rivalry is one of the most memorable feuds in WWE in the past decade or so as this "Best Friends turned Bitter Enemies" thing has been depicted quite well by the WWE. But things are far from over between the two right now and going by just how amazing their matches are all the time, they should be honored by a match between the two at the grandest stage of them all. Wrestlemania 34 should have a Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn match which could be for the United States Championship and Owens could also properly put over Zayn at Wrestlemania as well. They have a vibrant chemistry and are able to pull of amazing matches in any environment so it's rather obvious that they'll produce an instant classic at a stage like Wrestlemania and prove why their in-ring chemistry is the best in WWE.

11 11. Tommaso Ciampa vs Johnny Gargano

via youtube.com

Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano were one of the most over teams on NXT before they broke-up when Ciampa cruelly stabbed Gargano after their loss at NXT:Takeover Chicago. Now Ciampa is injured right now and isn't expected to return before early part of next year and their feud is something which deserves the limelight of Wrestlemania. Gargano should be called up by then and WWE should instantly also call up Ciampa to kick-off their rivalry, culminating in an epic match at Wrestlemania 34. They could even do a stipulation match between the two and if WWE gives them a good 15 minutes, they can perfectly depict their feud. Both of them are impeccable wrestlers who deserve to show their amazing work at the grandest stage of them all and WWE should definitely make Ciampa vs Gargano a thing at Wrestlemania 34 and the two will produce an instant classic.

10 10. Bray Wyatt vs "Woken" Matt Hardy

via comicbook.com

The WWE is filled with talent who can portray some really mysterious characters right now and Bray Wyatt is currently their most intriguing character by far. Wyatt has that real otherworldly vibe to him and WWE has the opportunity to strike gold if they can get Wyatt to feud with a certain "Woken" Matt Hardy. The Hardy Boyz are still fighting to get the rights to their "Broken" gimmick, but even if they don't, a certain "Woken" Hardy can come to fruition. WWE should definitely have a Bray Wyatt-Woken Matt match at the WrestleMania 34. Imagine the amazing promos before the match? The two have very unique wrestling styles which can complement them as well and the antics during the match will be amazing! The WWE should hold off on this feud up until WrestleMania; watching these two amazing characters going at it at the grandest stage of them all will be simply awesome!

9 9. Baron Corbin vs Aleister Black

via wwe.com / via dailyddt.com

Baron Corbin has been super impressive ever since getting promoted to the main roster, but the company has unfortunately soured on him, as seen by him failing to cash in his Money in the Bank contract and subsequent loss to John Cena at SummerSlam. Someone new who can give him a memorable feud is Aleister Black from NXT. Black is an extremely dangerous individual who can definitely go toe to toe with Corbin and with rumors stating that Black will be pushed on the main roster, having him wrestle somebody like Corbin can easily put him over. The two will have quite the dynamic match because of their hard-hitting style of wrestling and can actually turn out to be an impressive bout, even if they're not given much time in the ring.

8 8. The Revival vs The New Day

via wwe.com

The Tag Team Division in WWE might be going through a rather topsy-turvy phase right now but there are still some very good teams coming among the ranks with the likes of The Revival and The New Day. The WWE has a really good opportunity to put these two over at WrestleMania if they let them collide at the grandest stage of them all. Something which would be even more interesting is if it was a Champion vs Champion match. With the two having the respective titles of their brands with them, it could be an intriguing match and knowing how WWE doesn't want to advertise tag team matches at WrestleMania, this match could also be for brand superiority. These two can produce a memorable match at WrestleMania to put themselves over as the best in WWE.

7 7. Shinsuke Nakamura vs AJ Styles

via f4wonline.com

Shinsuke Nakamura has been an absolute superstar ever since arriving but fans were extremely hyped up when he was promoted to Smackdown, the home of a certain AJ Styles. Now many wrestling fans remember Nakamura's five-star match against Styles when they were in New Japan Pro Wrestling and with rumors of their match happening soon, one can't help but be hyped for it. WWE needs to capitalize on this hype and make the match take place at a stage like Wrestlemania because the match deserves nothing but the biggest stage. They can tease the match for months before making it a thing at Wrestlemania 34 and if Nakamura and Styles are given freedom to give it all, they will definitely blow the roof off the place. Their chemistry is incredible and when The Phenomenal One takes on The King of Strong Style, you can expect nothing but absolute brilliance.

6 6. Big Cass vs Luke Harper

via wwe.com / via stillrealtous.com

With the Brand Extension well underway right now, the "war of the brands" has been heated for quite some-time now and there needs to be a battle for brand supremacy at the Grandest stage of them all as well. A "Raw vs Smackdown" match is a necessity at Wrestlemania to heat up the rivalry between the brands and because WWE can't really utilize their top talent in a match like this at Wrestlemania, they should go for the mid-carders. Both Big Cass and Luke Harper are pretty big men able enough to pull off a really engaging match and a battle between them for brand supremacy could really get the fans hooked onto the product. Cass is being pushed heavily right now and almost everyone knows Harper for his weirdness and this match could be a really intense one depicting the tension between Raw and Smackdown perfectly.

5 5. The Club vs The Shield

via youtube.com / via wwe.com

It's been quite a long time since a war between Factions took place in the WWE as the company is hesitant at creating any factions nowadays. But they have the perfect opportunity to make for a dream match at Wrestlemania 34 which is The Club taking on the Shield. Now WWE have already teased a Shield reunion in the past few months and indicated it could happen in the future and turning Finn Balor heel and align with Gallows and Anderson would definitely get the band back together. This fantasy match could become a reality as the WWE should take their time in building this feud and have the perfect match at Wrestlemania. Watching these two amazing factions take on each other would be surreal and they would definitely blow the roof off the place as WWE should take the risk and make this fantasy a reality at Wrestlemania 34.

4 4. Brock Lesnar vs Braun Strowman

via cagesideseats.com

Brock Lesnar is at the pinnacle of his career right now and he's so intimidating that barely any WWE superstar can actually stand toe to toe with him. But someone who can even give the Beast nightmares is the Monster that is Braun Strowman who has been booked as an absolute animal by the WWE. Although they're heading towards a match at No Mercy, the WWE should definitely wait till WrestleMania. Watching these two absolute monsters taking on each other at WrestleMania 34 would be amazing as Braun can definitely give it to Brock with his power and agility in the ring. The match could be an absolute brutal one which could result in some awesome spots and watching these two behemoths tearing each other apart at WrestleMania will keep the audience hooked to their seats.

3 3. John Cena vs Roman Reigns

via cagesideseats.com

The WWE is seemingly going through somewhat of a transition phase to determine the "Face of the Company" right now as they are intent on making the much controversial Roman Reigns their Golden Boy. But with John Cena still quite the popular star in WWE, the company needs to have a match between them to determine who is the real "face" of WWE. Now a match between Reigns and Cena is something huge and WWE wouldn't want to have it anywhere but the grandest stage of them all. They would need to build it properly and knowing how much of a polarizing character both of them are, it would be quite the match to behold. Cena and Reigns can definitely pull off an impressive match as they are pretty solid in-ring workers, as fans would wait intently to watch who among these two "Supermen" prevail in the end.

2 2. Cesaro vs Shane McMahon

via wwe.com

Cesaro is doing a great job as part of "The Bar" on RAW right now, but it just doesn't feel right to see this extremely talented wrestler being wasted on the tag team division. The Swiss Superman doesn't seem to have many chances of being pushed as a singles star on RAW, but fans have been lobbying for him to be drafted to Smackdown. Now even if that doesn't happen, WWE could make for a twist in the tale and create a story-line where Cesaro has to earn his way into Smackdown Live, by defeating the boss Shane McMahon. We've seen Shane be capable of great things in Wrestlemania and this match itself will be an entertaining, hard-hitting one for everyone and someone like Shane putting over Cesaro at the grandest stage of them all could also kick-start a strong push for him at the Land of Opportunities.

1 1. AJ Styles vs Seth Rollins

via youtube.com

There might be many extremely talented wrestlers in the WWE right now, but not many can argue that Seth Rollins and AJ Styles are at the absolute top of the crop right now. "The Man" might not be doing so good as a face right now, but he's still an incredible performer with the Phenomenal One showing just how good he is week in, week out. The WWE needs to have a match between these two amazing superstars at Wrestlemania 34 as it has five-star written all over it. The two are such extra-ordinary athletes that they'll complement each other perfectly and can easily produce one of the best Wrestlemania matches ever if they are given a good 20-25 minutes in the ring. WWE can do a "Raw vs Smackdown" angle with this and make the two wrestle for brand supremacy as this has instant classic written all over it.
