With over 100,000 fans in attendance, WrestleMania 32 was a major event for WWE, and the company loaded the show with some huge matches to make it all worthwhile. With 12 matches, this was also the start point of WWE loading the match card to the point where the shows became very long too.

There's a great variety of matches on this card, with several stipulation bouts and some great title contests as well. While WWE was plagued with injuries to big names heading into this show, the company still put together a strong card, and the wrestlers delivered inside of the squared circle. But overall, which match was best?

12 The Rock vs. Erick Rowan

Rock Mania 32

This was an impromptu match that wasn't advertised but was put onto the card as a way to feature The Rock as a surprise legend. He came out during The Wyatt Family segment and it resulted in a quick match between himself and Erick Rowan.

It was barely a match though, lasting just six seconds. The Rock clearly had to be safe due to his movie career, therefore he hit the Rock Bottom and got the job done nice and quick. It was a fun moment for the fans to see live, but it wasn't a memorable match.

11 The Usos vs. The Dudley Boyz

It's crazy to think two of WWE's greatest ever tag teams were relegated to the pre-show here, but that was the case. Sadly they didn't get much time on that either, with this one lasting just over five minutes.

It was very much the run-of-the-mill tag team match that you'd see on Raw or SmackDown, which made it forgettable. While they all worked hard in this match, it was just too short for it to be exciting or feel WrestleMania worthy.

10 Team Total Divas vs. Team Bad And Blonde

This was another pre-show match and one that was more exciting than people had expected it to be. With this being a 10 woman tag team match there was a risk of it being rushed, but WWE gave them plenty of time which allowed this to be a great story.

The rivalry felt real between the Total Divas group and the non-members of the show, and it worked out well. Lana and Eva Marie were able to shine just the right amount, and the stronger wrestlers got more time, which complimented the match.

9 Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal is just a method of giving everyone a spot on the card. It rarely has any major story and that was the case here. The match did have a few cool moments, with the staredown between Shaq and Big Show being something fans enjoyed seeing.

Kane was the real star of this match though, dominating the majority of the bout with the story running through him. However, Baron Corbin winning on his main roster debut was a great way to bring him in.

8 The New Day vs. The League Of Nations

It's a shame that The New Day wasn't given a better set of opponents here, as they were at the top of their game at this point. The League Of Nations was a group nobody cared about and the fact they won this match was something nobody appreciated.

The match itself was a basic six-man tag. Despite the fact that all the players involved were talented professional wrestlers, there was little going on here to get excited about for the fans until the legends appeared, but that was when the bout was all over.

7 Triple H vs. Roman Reigns (WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match)

This might have been the main event of the show, but it wasn't an enjoyable encounter at all. The storyline was one fans hated, with audiences not wanting to see either man as World Champion, but Roman Reigns as the babyface was certainly not liked here.

The live crowd was already against this one, but then the two men proceeded to have a slow and dull affair which only made the fan reaction worse, which hurt the match further.

6 Ryback vs. Kalisto (United States Championship Match)

Kalisto WrestleMania 32

It's a shame that this was stuck on the pre-show with no fans in attendance due to ticketing issues at the stadium because this was a great match. Kalisto and Ryback worked together a few times, and this was one of their best battles.

They always had good chemistry, mainly because their styles were so different that they meshed perfectly. Ryback's pure power against the speed and high-flying antics worked well for an entertaining match.

5 AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho

AJ v Y2J

This was AJ Styles' first WrestleMania match, and getting to work with a top WWE veteran like Chris Jericho was a dream match for fans. The two men put together a technical match that was enjoyable to watch, but it always felt like it was missing something.

It never quite kicked into the next gear with a shift of pace or some extra near falls to hook the fans, which stopped it from becoming a classic. However, it was a solid wrestling match between two talented wrestlers.

4 The Undertaker vs. Shane McMahon (Hell In A Cell Match)

This was the big match that was added to the card due to injuries, and there was a lot of excitement about it. Both men went all out here, in what was a very physical match for two men at this point in their careers, taking big bumps throughout.

The only problem was that it was slow-paced and the match dragged on for a long time. Everything built to Shane's big leap from the roof, but outside of that, this should have been cut down in time.

3 Brock Lesnar vs. Dean Ambrose (No Holds Barred Match)

A lot of fans look back at this match as a poor one, and while it never quite hit the levels of brutality fans were expecting, it is still a great match. The two men pulled out plenty of weapons and did brawl around well, which made the match feel special.

It was clear that the chemistry wasn't really there between them as talents. However, their encounter had some nice near falls and entertaining moments, which made it a good match overall.

2 Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match

When it comes to ladder matches at WrestleMania, this was one of the greatest of all time. It had the right combination of in-ring styles and there were some high-flying antics that were truly shocking, leaving fans stunned.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were fresh stars on the main roster at this point and large amounts of the match were built around them. Plus, the surprise victory for Zack Ryder made for an amazing 'Mania moment.

1 Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks (Women's Championship Match)

WrestleMania 32 Women's Title Match

This was the turning point for women's wrestling as far as WrestleMania cards were concerned. This triple threat was given tons of hype and a lot of time on the night and the women certainly delivered, putting together a sensational match.

They stole the show with ease, having a match filled with near falls, unique reversals, high-flying moves, and great energy. Each woman got to hit some cool spots and all of them came out of it looking stronger. It was an exceptional match and an example of how to do a triple threat well.
