If you were wondering why you didn't see Emma on Raw last night, you aren't the only one. Emma herself was wondering the same thing, and she put those thoughts into words with a tweet about her unhappiness with the situation during the show.

Wrestling Inc reported that during the Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley match last night, Emma sent out a little sarcastic tweet about her lack of opportunities.

Then, during the last half hour of the show—while still sitting backstage—Emma thought it would be a good idea to tweet again about it being her five-year anniversary with WWE.

Emma's first five years with the WWE have been pretty busy, but as many fans are aware, much of it has been outside the ring. She signed with the organization in 2011 and was introduced as Emma in August 2012. Since then, she has been called up to the main roster as Santino Marella's love interest, sent back down to NXT, been brought back up to the main roster, suffered some injuries and had back surgery that kept her out of action for a while.

But maybe what she is best known for is her multi-month build up to a rebranding/makeover that went nowhere.  At the end of 2016 and the beginning of 2017, the WWE aired these little vignettes about the makeover of Emma to Emmalina.

The buildup took longer than anyone thought, but her debut as Emmalina was pretty much over before it began. On the Feb. 13, 2017, episode of Raw Emmalina was finally revealed, and within a minute and a half, she announced the makeover of Emmalina back to Emma.

Apparently, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet, that after multiple rehearsals WWE producers didn't feel she could pull off the character that was meant to be a throwback to Sable and The Kat.

Emma suffered a shoulder injury in May and returned to action in June. There was teasing of a storyline between her and Dana Brooke during the kickoff show for the Great Balls Of Fire pay-per-view, but at this point, there has been no follow up on whatever that may become.
