Besides being multi-time Tag Team Champions, Big E and Kofi Kingston have won the WWE Championship, while Woods has become the King of the Ring winner. The New Day has delivered many awesome segments over the years. But there are some forgettable moments about The New Day members that WWE wouldn't want the fans to remember.

10 Kofi Kingston's WWE Championship Match Against Brock Lesnar

Brock Vs Kofi

Kofi Kingston made a huge impact after becoming the WWE Champion. The KofiMania lasted six months, starting from WrestleMania 35. While the title reign was stupendous, it had a disappointing end that WWE might not want the fans to remember.

Kingston clashed with Brock Lesnar on the Season Premier of SmackDown on Fox. The Beast Incarnate decimated Kofi Kingston within just 8 seconds to end the glorious title run.

9 Big E Was Dolph Ziggler And AJ Lee's Bodyguard

Big E as bodyguard

Since becoming a member of New Day, Big E's character has demonstrated his funny and ebullient side. Compared to now, Big E had a vastly different gimmick when he first debuted on the main roster. He had the strongman look, and his serious character caught attention in NXT, which also made him the NXT Champion.

However, after the main roster debut, Big E became a bodyguard for Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee. The gimmick wasn't suitable after his good run as the NXT Champion.

7 Kofi Kingston's Botched His Elimination At Royal Rumble 2022

Kofi Kingston Royal Rumble 2022

Kofi Kingston is known to pull off incredible tricks in every Royal Rumble match, and he has been doing those Rumble stunts for over a decade to make the match more interesting. Likewise, Kingston tried the same thing in 2022, but he failed miserably for the first time.

Kingston was thrown out of the ring by Kevin Owens and landed hard on the barricade. While he was supposed to hold on to the barricade, he botched the move after both of his feet touched the floor. He is likely to try another Rumble stunt next year, but WWE wouldn't want fans to remember this year's botch.

6 The Early Gospel Era Run

New Day Gospel Era

The New Day members gave fans many comedic segments. They wore unicorn horns, threw pancakes, and brought Booty O cereal with them. These hilarious acts helped them become popular.

But The New Day tried a different gospel-type gimmick at the beginning, as WWE hyped their debut with such vignettes. Those segments certainly didn't go well with the fans and ended up drawing negative reactions. WWE would want the fans to forget the Gospel era run as well as segments.

5 Brock Lesnar Ended Big E's WWE Championship Run As Well

Big E and Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar can be called a nightmare for The New Day. First, the Beast Incarnate humiliated Kofi Kingston to end his awe-inspiring WWE Championship run. Big E became the second New Day member to win the WWE Championship, but his title reign also came to an end against Brock Lesnar.

4 Kofi Kingston Forgot The Jamaican Accent

Kofi Kingston Jamaican gimmick

Kofi Kingston isn't actually from Jamaica. Nevertheless, he had a Jamaican gimmick in the early days of his career in WWE. While he wore Jamaican flag-inspired gear, he also had a Jamaican accent. Needless to say, Kofi pulled off the gimmick with ease except for one time.

Kofi incidentally forgot his Jamaican accent during a promo in 2009. Triple H pointed it out saying he was supposed to have a Jamaican accent. From that point, Kofi Kingston stopped using the Jamaican accent. WWE would love the fans to forget that embarrassing incident.

3 The Rock Owned The New Day (RAW, January 25, 2016)

The Rock vs Xavier Woods

There aren't many names in the world of pro-wrestling who can go toe-to-toe with The Rock on the microphone, and it wasn't an exception when The New Day members confronted The Great One on an episode of RAW in 2016.

The New Day tried taking a jibe at The Rock, and the latter got them back with some cheeky lines. Later, The Rock's cousins, The Usos, attacked The New Day members to end the segment. The New Day wouldn't want the fans to remember the humiliation by The People's Champ, nor they would be eager to confront the ten-time World Champion again.

2 'New Day Sucks' Chant

New Day WWE

Right now, The New Day is over. In fact, they are one of the most famous stables in history, not just in the present generation. But the road hasn't always been smooth for the trio.

The New Day now chants with the crowd 'New Day rocks', which is certainly a popular catchphrase. However, in the initial days of the stable, they received just the opposite chants. The fans in the arena would chant 'New Day sucks'. The chant was forgettable for all three members of New Day.

1 Kofi Kingston's Money In The Bank Match (2021)

Lashley vs Kingston Money in the Bank 2021

Kofi Kingston entered the WWE Championship picture for a brief period in 2021 when he had a feud with then-champion Bobby Lashley. Their WWE Championship match took place at Money in the Bank 2021.

The match was agonizing for Kofi Kingston as The Almighty treated Kingston like a rag doll. It was a completely one-sided match, and Lashley squashed his challenger for over seven minutes. Now, Kingston is back in the tag team scene. It shouldn't be a good thing to remember considering how he was booked like a jobber during that bout.
