Wrestling is a relatively young man's game, and, outside of a few notable exceptions, those who make a living in the industry are rarely able to do so effectively into their 50's. Nevertheless, some competitors have managed to find the fountain of youth and wrestle far longer than their bodies should have allowed them to.

While some high-profile veterans, like Goldberg and Chris Jericho, catch all of the headlines based on their status with their respective companies, others who made a living in the '90s go unnoticed and unappreciated like 2 Cold Scorpio. With that said, the longevity of certain wrestlers is nothing short of miraculous, and they can still hang with anyone in the ring.

2 Cold Scorpio, who made his professional wrestling debut in 1985, had stints with WCW, WWE, and ECW, where he had his most successful run, throughout the '90s. It may come as a surprise to find that Scorpio, who last appeared on WWE at the 15th anniversary of Raw in 2007, has maintained a career on the independent scene for the past two decades.

Scorpio may often get overlooked when comparing him to many of the top wrestlers of his era, but it is hard to not wonder what could have been if he had come along a decade later. His high-flying and exciting skill set made him one of the most entertaining wrestlers of his time, and his incredible longevity does nothing but add to his impressive legacy.

He did not reach his potential in WWE, as his skill set would have been a better fit in modern-day professional wrestling, but he has was still able to stay relevant and has had multiple stints with TNA. Gunn originally signed with AEW as a trainer in 2019, but he quickly showed he could compete as an in-ring performer. He formed a faction with his two sons called The Gunn Club (he's got such a great name for a tag team competitor) and is again making his mark in the tag team ranks.
