AEW stars Sammy Guevara and Andrade El Idolo are going hard at each other on social media Tuesday, all over what appears to be a backstage beef and a lack of communication that both are now airing in public. The slinging of dirty laundry has been elevated to a whole new level and the timing is intriguing considering El Idolo is set to have a match on Rampage, where if he loses, he has to leave AEW forever.

The speculation is that Andrade wants to leave AEW. It's not clear if he has an open invitation to go back to WWE, or where he'll wrestle if he does leave, but many believe things just aren't working out for him there and he wants to get out of his contract. His back-and-forth with Guevara could be just a bit of evidence that points to some of the issues that may be going on for him behind the scenes there.

It started when Guevara seemingly responded to El Idolo after an interview the latter did with "Mas Lucha," where he accused Guevara of hitting too hard during matches. Guevara didn't mention his name in the response tweet, but did say the person he was referring to was a "jobber" and "a favor hire." El Idolo then responded and said, "I said it to your FACE if you had a problem with me and you said NOTHING, I won't beat your ass because I'm a professional, don't be scared. When I say something I name names, and I'm not scared to get fired!"

There are witness accounts of El Idolo actually having this conversation with Guevara, but Guevara is claiming it never took place. He responded in his own tweet, "YOU didn't say sh-- to me you liar but here's some truth you ungrateful prick. You would be jobless if it wasn’t for your dad-in-law. Are you really mad at me or mad at yourself for failing to get over for a SECOND time. Just go back to WWWE like we all know you want to do & f--- off."

More AEW Troubles

The amount of laundry that gets aired in AEW is reaching all-time ridiculous levels. For whatever reason, the talent that work there can't seem to deal with their issues behind closed doors and all it does is make the company look foolish. Tony Khan and the rest of the locker room need to get this kind of stuff under control and if they can't, start suspending and releasing all of the talents that don't abide by a code of conduct.

That is unless this is all a work and in professional wrestling, you never know.
