Tonight's episode of AEW Dark was back on the road in Miami, which provided the show with a lot of juice. With a brisk runtime of under an hour, the episode moved like gangbusters. Additionally, the show was stacked with several fan favorites. Here are your Dark results for October 19th, 2021.

Winner: The AEW Women's Roster

The women's division got a lot of shine on this episode of Dark. Jamie Hayter looked dominant in a squash match. Jade Cargill came to the ring immaculately dressed and cut a vicious promo, calling out Thunder Rosa and calling her shot as the first TBS Champion.

But the highlight of the division was a six-woman tag team match which saw Thunder Rosa, Kris Statlander, and Red Velvet face Nyla Rose, Diamante, and Emi Sakura. The match was well-worked, and in a reasonable run time, they gave each of the ladies some time to show off their best work. With the ensuing TBS Championship looming over the company, all of the wrestlers looked in peak form, doing their best to make a case for their tournament slot.

Red Velvet scored the pinfall on Emi Sakura after hitting one of her finishers, The Final Slice.

Winner: The Dark Order Back To Their Old Selves

After their emotional reunion a few weeks ago on Dynamite, the Dark Order is firing on all cylinders. Dark Order members Colt Cabana, Stu Grayson, Alan Angels, and Preston "10" Vance battled with Daniel Garcia, 2.0, and Serpentico, who brilliantly played the odd man out in the four-man tag team.

The Dark Order was at their best, looking sharp in execution but having fun with the crowd in between. Daniel Garcia was impressive; the heat he can get at his young age is something to marvel at. Not surprisingly, Serpentico ate the defeat when he was knocked out cold with 10's full nelson.

Loser: The Commentary Team

The commentary team was out of sorts on this episode of Dark. Taz and Excalibur, who typically have a terrific rapport, were quick to step on each other in this episode.

Eddie Kingston was brought in as a third commentator for the Lance Archer match, which led to a chaotic, machismo-fueled altercation between Taz and Kingston, which ultimately distracted from the brief match.

Later in the show, QT Marshall joined the commentary desk for Aaron Solo's match against Frankie Kazarian, which ultimately settled things down. When QT Marshall is out-talking Kingston, Excalibur, and Taz - you know it's a weird night. Fans can look at this night as an anomaly, as most Dark episodes have a delightful, relaxed feel.

Winner: The Gunn Club

It can't be overstated just how amazing Billy Gunn looks at his mature age. His physique and in-ring ability have not faltered one iota. Gunn and his sons, Colton, and Austin looked terrific in their six-man tag team match. They made quick work of their opponents to remain undefeated. If they keep winning like this, they should be staring at a tag-team title shot very soon, if the rankings have anything to say about it.

The trio also put in solid character work, digging their feet into their new heel characters. At one point in the match, Billy Gunn (who was getting cheered throughout the match) made a snide remark to beloved referee Aubrey Edwards. This action brought the desired boos from the Miami crowd.

This episode checked all the boxes of what fans could ask for in a Dark episode; solid matches, character advancement, and a fast runtime. We'll see how the company switches back to their studio-style when they return to AEW Universal next week.

Jamie Hayter def. Tiffany Nieves via pinfall in a squash match.

Gunn Club (Billy, Austin & Colton) def. Diamond Sheik, Dean Alexander & Alex Chamberlain via pinfall. Colton Gunn got the fall after hitting his finisher, Colt 45.

Thunder Rosa, Kris Statlander & Red Velvet def. Nyla Rose, Diamante & Emi Sakura via pinfall. Red Velvet hit The Final Slice on Sakura for the 1-2-3.

Jade Cargill & Smart Mark Sterling came out for a promo. They said the TBS Title should be awarded to Cargill because she's undefeated. Cargill also took disrespectful shots at Thunder Rosa.

Lance Archer def. O.T. Fernandez via pinfall with The Blackout. Eddie Kingston was on commentary for the match.

Frankie Kazarian def. Aaron Solo via submission.

Dark Order (Stu Grayson, Alan Angeles, 10 & Colt Cabana) def. 2.0, Daniel Garcia & Serpentico via TKO. Preston "10" Vance locked Serpentico in a Full Nelson, which put Serpentico out cold.
