This week's edition of AEW Dynamite emanated live from Atlanta, the former home of WCW and Sting's old stomping ground. The show kicked off with Bryan Danielson taking out another member of The Dark Order and closed with a thrillingly chaotic street fight between Cody Rhodes and Andrade El Idolo.

Winner: The Hangman Vs. Danielson Build

In the opening match of the show, Bryan Danielson defeated yet another Dark Order member in Alan Angels, who was wrestling his hometown of Atlanta. The match was solid but brief, although Angels got just enough offense in so as to not be completely humiliated. Danielson hit Angels with a running knee, but instead of going for a pin, Danielson kicked Angels' head in. A lot. Then he locked him in a kneebar for a tapout victory. Danielson held the kneebar for some time after the bell, much to the Atlanta crowd's chagrin.

Hangman Page went to confront Danielson but John Silver stopped him. Danielson continued to ridicule Page and The Dark Order on the mic and reminded Page that Tony Khan had decreed that Page would be suspended if he laid a hand on the number one contender.

Danielson is so great in this role. He and Pag have only shared a few segments together, but they've sold the match and then some. Page will defend the AEW World Championship against Danielson at Winter Is Coming on December 15.

Loser: Whatever Miro Is Doing

A cheap-looking and nonsensical pretaped Miro promo aired. Miro was saying a lot without actually saying anything He's mad at God now. Maybe? It wasn't clear. It's a shame because he's been utilized almost perfectly recently. He doesn't really need hype vignettes. Just let him go out there and wreck fools.

Winner: Lee Moriarty

Highly-rated AEW newcomer Lee Moriarty more than held his own against the veteran CM Punk in the show's second match. After the bell, MJF and Punk had another mic battle that was nowhere near as good as last week's and was ultimately kind of pointless as a result. They're running out of decent material.

Loser: Adam Cole Getting An Entrance For No Reason

Adam Cole got a full-on entrance just so could go sit at the announce desk for five seconds. He walked all the way to ring, did the BOOM thing then the BAYBAY thing, then walked back up the ramp to the commentary table. He was then confronted by Orange Cassidy (who also got a full entrance Anyway, The Best Friends are feuding with the SuperKliq no, for some reason.

Winner: Sting Returns To Atlanta

"The Icon" Sting returned to his old stomping ground to team up with Darby Allin for a match against The Gunn Club. The crowd was really into this one, and not just because it featured two WWE Hall Of Famers. It was a very fun match that featured some really wild spots. Seeing Sting and Billy Gunn square off for the first time in decades was cool as hell, and the crowd reacted accordingly. Of course, Darby did some absolutely sickening dives and helped his team to victory by launching himself from the ring to the outside, taking Billy Gunn out in the process. Sting then hit the Scorpion Deathdrop on Colten Gunn for the win.

Loser: Kris Statlander

Ruby Soho advanced to the semi-finals of the TBS Championship Tournament with a win over Kris Statlander. If she can beat Nyla Rose in the semi-finals, Soho will face either Thunder Rosa or Jade Cargill in the final.

Winner: Fiery Main Event

Cody Rhodes and Andrade El Idolo went one-on-one in a very fun main event street fight that got a little fiery. Click here for a full rundown.
