Fans who know the history between Claudio Castagnoli and Eddie Kingston should keep an eye on these two wrestlers in the coming weeks. It appears AEW has already planted the seeds of a feud between the two, and while their personal beef goes back a long time, it might have started up again following Sundays' Forbidden Door pay-per-view.

After the pay-per-view ended, Jon Moxley (new Interim AEW Champion) was joined for a post-match celebration by his fellow Blackpool Combat Club members Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and William Regal. Also out in the ring were Eddie Kingston, Santana & Ortiz. But, for fans who know the history between Claudio and Kingston, they were former rivals in CHIKARA and PWG. Kingston appeared unhappy about having to team with Claudio this Wednesday at Blood and Guts, and he threw a tantrum, storming away from the ring. Kingston later shared a tweet he wrote in February of this year where he said Claudio “doesn’t have the balls to come to AEW.”

AEW also tweeted about the incident, noting "Interesting developments at the conclusion of this main event here at the #ForbiddenDoor PPV; we'll see you all at #BloodAndGuts next Wednesday in Detroit!" They showed footage of what appears to be Kingston spitting at Claudio and the announce crew acknowledged they famously loathe one another. Claudio even called Kingston someone who acts and screams like a little kid during his post-event media availability.

Expect This Feud In The Coming Weeks

AEW will get through Blood and Guts on Wednesday, but with Claudio signed long-term to AEW, expect that one of his first feuds will be with his former indie scene rival. That AEW is already trying to capitalize on their heated history means they probably already have a storyline between these two in the works.
