WWE 2K22 might have been stealing wrestling video game headlines since March, but AEW now appears to be close to taking some of them back. Well, technically it will be taking some of those headlines for the very first time as the next video game from AEW will be its first. There's still no official word on when exactly Fight Forever, the name confirmed earlier this year, will be here, but listings popping up online have begun to reveal some more key details.

Who's On The Cover?

An Amazon listing appears to have confirmed the platforms on which the game will launch, and screenshots have revealed more of the wrestlers who have made the roster. A few more may well have been confirmed via some leaked cover art for the game. A listing on Xtralife shows CM Punk front and center on the cover, but unlike most WWE 2K covers, he is far from alone.

Also in the center of the cover is Jade Cargill, right above Punk as you can see in the shot below. Also making the cut are Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Britt Baker, and Jon Moxley. Most had already been confirmed for the game's roster, although this may well be the first time Cargill has been mentioned in the same breath as the game. Always likely considering she is TBS Champion.

Challenges, Weapons, And Co-Op

Gematsu has shared a few more of the finer details discovered in various listings, including daily and weekly challenges. Clearly a way to keep people interested, something WWE games have arguably struggled with, and also a good idea if this isn't going to be a series that gets a new game every year. There will also be minigames, more than 40 weapons, and an online co-op mode of some sort.

Again, none of the above has been officially revealed by AEW just yet, but there's no reason to think any of it isn't accurate considering the source from which it has all come is a listing that went up a little early. That listing had Fight Forever's release date as December 31, 2022. Unlikely the game will actually launch on that date, and it's probably a placeholder signifying the plan is still to launch the game before the end of the year.
