It appears that AEW are inching closer and closer towards getting their upcoming video game up on store shelves. Along with recent listings on Amazon UK revealing more details about the highly anticipated AEW: Fight Forever, the company's first big budget console and PC game, further listings online have confirmed even more information in regard to the playable roster via in-game screenshots.

Screenshots Reveal New Names in AEW: Fight Forever Video Game

AEW Fight Forever Thunder Rosa Abadon Yuka Sakazaki

Found on Spanish video game retailer XtraLife, a pre-order listing for AEW: Fight Forever includes a handful of screenshots of in-game action, featuring several wrestlers who have yet to be officially confirmed by AEW Games. Along with previously announced names Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho, the XtraLife screenshots give fans their first look at fellow AEW World Champions Hangman Adam Page and Jon Moxley in the game.

Whilst main-eventers like Page and Moxley were safe bets for making the in-game roster, another screenshot gives a look at members of the women's division joining the confirmed Nyla Rose, Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida. An image of a triple threat match shows the current AEW Women's World Champion Thunder Rosa doing battle with Abadon and Yuka Sakazaki, providing the first look at all three in AEW: Fight Forever.

Who Else Might Be Included?

AEW Fight Forever Jon Moxley Kenny Omega

Of the screenshots, the inclusion of Abadon and Yuka Sakazaki are especially interesting inclusions into the AEW: Fight Forever playable roster. Abadon has very rarely appeared on AEW television, though has had been appearing fairly consistently on Dark and Elevation, where Sakazaki appears in AEW when her schedule in Japan can accommodate it. With these two being lesser featured members of the AEW women's division, it raises questions of just how deep the in-game roster might run.

In speaking of AEW: Fight Forever over the production cycle, representatives of AEW Games have expressed how the team doesn't intend to annualize releases like WWE's mainline video game series', instead looking to support Fight Forever over an extended period. So, whilst some members of the AEW roster might not be in the game at launch, there is a good chance they might make their way into the virtual rings through content drops and updates following release.
