AEW's final PPV of the year, Full Gear is almost upon us. The first major show since the chaos that was All Out, or perhaps more accurately, the chaos that followed. The four wrestlers who left that show as World and Trios Champions remain absent, and Full Gear will be AEW's best chance yet to show the world it is back on track. It also signals a shift back to Saturdays for AEW's PPVs as Full Gear will take place on Saturday, November 19. The PPV will begin at 8 pm EST and will be available through B/R Live for fans in the US. Everyone else will be able to order the show through Fite.

Women's and Tag Title matches have been added to the card.

Jon Moxley vs. MJF for the AEW Championship

Right before all of the All Out turmoil, MJF returned to AEW and won the Casino Ladder Match, earning himself a shot at the World Title whenever he chooses. A talking to from William Regal convinced him to cash it in ahead of time, angrily telling Jon Moxley he will see him at All Out.

It feels very much like MJF's return hinged on a rematch with Punk where The Devil Himself would have finally won the title from his former hero. That combined with Moxley delaying some time off so he could carry the title for a third time makes it seem almost nailed on that MJF will win this one.

Toni Storm vs. Jamie Hayter for the Interim AEW Women's Championship

Jamie Hayter getting her shot to become AEW Women's Champion feels like it has been a long time coming. At Full Gear, the fan favorite will finally get her shot. Yes, it's only for the interim title, but that's really as good as the real thing under the current circumstances.

Thunder Rosa returning and having to face Hayter instead of Toni Storm would be a cool twist, but it doesn't feel like that's the plan. This match feels more like a stepping stone to get Hayter a permanent seat at the top table, and it'll likely include Britt Baker getting involved some how.

The Acclaimed vs. Swerve In Our Glory for the AEW Tag Team Championships

the acclaimed

AEW's tag division has been defined by two unexpected teams in 2022. The Acclaimed and Swerve In Our Glory. The two pairs have clashed twice already, and at Full Gear, they'll do it again, with the gold on the line, for the third and presumably final time. At least for now.

There's really only one winner in this one. Well two, because tag teams. The Acclaimed. They're firm fan favorites, their cathphrase is so over that it's earning AEW money, and they're up against a makeshift team, even though it has turned out to be a pretty great makeshift team.

Saraya vs. Britt Baker

Saraya and Britt Baker on AEW Dynamite

Yes, it really is happening. Saraya has been cleared to return to the ring and her first match in almost five years will be against Britt Baker at Full Gear. It could be the only match we see Saraya in this year as she has been told not to wrestle more than once a month.

There's really only one winner in this one. Even though it could be argued that Baker needs a few wins, having Saraya lose her first match back after all this time would be a big mistake.

Death Triangle vs. The Elite for the AEW Trios Championships

The Trios Titles didn't get the start to life in AEW Tony Khan would have hoped for. The Elite were stripped of the belts right after winning them and Death Triangle has held them ever since. Now Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks are back, and their first order of business is trying to win the titles they never lost.

Whether that is the right route to take is a tricky one. The Elite hasn't appeared in front of AEW fans since All Out. It seems likely they'll win this one, but there's no telling whether the in-house fans will like that or not until it's too late.

Chris Jericho vs. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Bryan Danielson vs. Sammy Guevara for the ROH Championship

Chris Jericho has lived up to his word and been defending the ROH Title against former champions ever since he won the belt. Fed up with dealing with challengers one at a time, at Full Gear, The Wizard will attempt to fend off three challengers at the same time.

That's technically not true, of course, since this won't be a handicap match. Not only will it be every man for himself, but Jericho's good friend Sammy Guevara will also be in the match. As for who wins, if Jericho isn't going to retain in this one, then the most likely new champion will be Bryan Danielson.

Jade Cargill vs. Nyla Rose for the AEW TBS Championship

If you were thinking Jade Cargill is running out of potential opponents, well, you might be right. Cargill and Nyla Rose have met before, but in defense of AEW, that was in a triple threat match and happened before Cargill had won the TBS Title.

Even though Cargill has beaten Rose before, this feels like the biggest threat to ger undefeated streak so far. On the one hand, the streak ending feels like it should come to an end at the hands of someone more relevant. On the other, having Rose win this would be the perfect way to make her relevant again.

Luchasaurus vs. Jungle Boy in a Steel Cage Match

Jungle Boy will finally get another chance to put this whole mess between him and Christian Cage behind him at Full Gear. He and Luchasaurus will face off for the second occasion, this time inside a steel cage which will hopefully keep Christian at bay.

This match absolutely has to be won by Jungle Boy. Not only has he already lost to Luchasaurus once, but the stench of losing to Christian in a squash match at All Out is still on him. Time for a big win on a big stage to get him back on track.

Wardlow vs. Samoa Joe vs. Powerhouse Hobbs for the AEW TNT Championship

Wardlow and Samoa Joe made quite the team while they were on the same page. That was never going to last though, especially when Wardlow has something Joe wants in the TNT Title. Throw Powerhouse Hobbs into the mix and this is going to be a huge match, literally.

Hobbs would be a great pick to win this match. Have him take advantage of Joe and Wardlow obsessing over each other, leaving the two of them to fight over Joe's ROH TV Title while Hobbs moves on to defending his newly won TNT Championship against someone else.

Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal vs. Darby Allin and Sting

jeff jarrett

Jeff Jarrett is Alle Elite, and at Full Gear, he will make his in-ring debut for the company. Double-J will team with Jay Lethal, the man he stood alongside for his loss to Ric Flair, to battle Sting and Darby Allin, the man he hit over the head with a guitar.

I'm going with the exact opposite logic in this match as I did to the Saraya match in that the person debuting is probably going to lose. Jarrett and Lethal don't need the win here, but Allin really does if he's going to be seen as a threat again anytime soon.
