AEW hasn't really established what its biggest show of the year is yet, but there are probably two contenders. Double or Nothing, since that was the company's first-ever PPV, or All Out. It could be argued All In was AEW's first PPV even though it happened four months before the company existed. All Out has taken its place and been a big deal ever since.

Wrestlers Returning For All Out

With a little more than a month to go until this year's All Out, exactly what fans can expect from the show remains unclear. While matches aren't usually announced this far in advance, the general shape of the card is a little murky this year as some of AEW's biggest names are currently on the sidelines. Names Tony Khan hopes will be back in time to play a part in All Out.

As reported by Wrestling Observer Newsletter, those four wrestlers are Adam Cole, Kenny Omega, Bryan Danielson, and perhaps most importantly of all, AEW Champion CM Punk. Apparently, the most likely two from that quartet to be back in time are Cole and Omega. Cole last wrestled at Forbidden Door in a match that appeared to end prematurely due to him suffering an injury.

Omega And Punk

Omega has been absent for a lot longer. The Cleaner hasn't wrestled since he lost the AEW Title at Full Gear last November. Speaking of Full Gear, despite Khan leaving the title on Punk, there's a very real chance the champ won't be back until this year's Full Gear. A real blow to AEW not only because Punk is still the true champion, but also because All Out will return to Punk's hometown of Chicago again in September.

That just leaves Danielson, the one of the four with the biggest question mark hanging over his head. AEW is getting its first taste of something WWE struggled with via Danielson multiple times. An injury that appeared to be a relatively minor thing, only to lead to him sitting on the sidelines indefinitely. Hopefully time isn't called on Danielson's career before he's ready to hang it up for a second time.
