However, there are still plenty of people that fans are hoping to see the former Bullet Club leader compete against, with a lot of top dream matches still being on the table for him in the business. While they might not all take place, it would be great to see him work against some of the people he has never faced.

10 Miro

Miro AEW Double or Nothing

Miro and Kenny Omega have different styles inside the ring, with the former WWE Superstar being a powerhouse wrestler who is physical inside the ring, while Omega is more about technical work with strikes and high-flying aspects blended in as well.

A match between these two is something that fans have always wanted to see, with both men having big personalities to go alongside their in-ring abilities. Injuries have stopped it from happening in AEW so far, but that is something that could change in the future.

9 CM Punk

CM Punk AEW Champion feature

Another major former WWE Superstar that is now part of the AEW roster is CM Punk, and much like Miro, he has never competed against Kenny Omega. This is one of the biggest dream matches left in professional wrestling, with this likely being something that Tony Khan will pull the trigger on when both men are back and healthy.

They have both been considered to be the greatest wrestlers around at one point in time, and because of that the storyline for them competing against each other does write itself. The match quality would undoubtedly be high

8 Matt Cardona

Matt Cardona NWA Champion

Matt Cardona has been one of the most talked-about professional wrestlers in the world since he left WWE, and because of that, a match between him and Kenny Omega is something people have talked about. Whether it be Cardona working as the Deathmatch King or the two of them working a technical bout, this is something that could be great.

Whether it would be taking place in AEW or elsewhere, an encounter between them would get a ton of buzz amongst the wrestling community. Both of them are great at playing specific characters as well, which could be tapped into at some point in the future.

7 Eric Young

Eric Young in WWE

Eric Young is one of the veterans of the wrestling world right now, and he is capable of putting together great matches which he has done throughout his entire career no matter where he has worked. However, a match with Kenny Omega has never taken place, which is a shame as they would likely have a great contest.

When Omega was working in Impact Wrestling during the cross-promotion with AEW, there was a good chance for this match to take place, but it never ended up being booked and unfortunately, it seems unlikely that it will ever happen.

6 Brody King

Brody King in Ring Of Honor

Brody King is relatively new to the AEW roster, but he is already being positioned as a top star with his hard-hitting style that is blended with great pace being something that has caught the attention of fans. However, these two men did spend a lot of time together in Ring Of Honor previously, yet they never met.

Surprisingly, they were never put together in the same ring, whether that be in a tag team or singles scenario. They would likely match up nicely inside the ring, and this one could end up happening down the line.

5 Sting

Sting in AEW

Sting facing Kenny Omega is something that a lot of fans would never have expected to see at one point due to the places they both worked and the fact the Icon was retired for several years. But nowadays, Sting is a regular participant inside the ring for AEW, and he is still putting on great matches.

Because of that, seeing him compete against Omega would be brilliant as the star power is simply undeniable between them. It would be a different type of match for Omega, but that is something that people want to see happen because of the sheer unlikeliness of it at one point in time.

4 Gunther

Right now Gunther and Kenny Omega work for different promotions, meaning a match between them has no chance of happening anytime soon. However, in the past, they were two top-tier athletes that would work for major independent promotions from time to time.

Booking Omega vs Gunther (f.k.a Walter) would have been a huge attraction match that could have easily sold tickets, with the two of them having differing styles, yet they are both capable of pulling out five-star matches with ease, which is why it's surprising that it hasn't happened.

3 Rey Mysterio

While Rey Mysterio has typically spent the majority of his time working for WWE over the years, he is someone that has experience wrestling around the world, which could have led him to facing Kenny Omega. The WWE legend was part of the original ALL IN event, which helped to create AEW in the first place.

That could have been an ideal time for him to face Omega, which would have been a massive encounter for the show. Omega always works well against people with Mysterio's size, which is why they could have done something special if they had the chance.

2 Jeff Cobb

Jeff Cobb

Jeff Cobb is an incredible big man in wrestling who uses her strength perfectly while also being able to add in good pace, which is the type of style that Kenny Omega often relishes facing. They'd no doubt be able to have a fantastic match, and considering both men have been involved with New Japan, it's surprising they didn't compete.

1 Jonathan Gresham

Jonathan Gresham with the ROH and Progress World Championships

Jonathan Gresham is one of the best technical wrestlers in the world right now, and that is something that has been reflected by the fact he is holding the ROH World Championship right now. A match between him and Kenny Omega would have a lot of potential, but so far they are yet to meet.

However, now that Khan owns ROH and can book Gresham, this is a dream encounter that should be taking place at some point in the future due to the fact that he has the possibility of making it happen, which would be a huge bout for ROH or AEW.
