This week AEW’s Rampage was taped from Houston, Texas. It featured a mystery giant for Shawn Spears to fight, the final opening-round match for the Owen Hart Foundation Women's Tournament, and saw trios and tag actions featuring House of Black & Blackpool Combat Club respectively. Many matches were also made for Double or Nothing on May 29.

Winner: House Of Black

Not only did the House of Black once again get to partake in one of their favorite activities, destroying Fuego Del Sol. They also got a match they had seemingly been seeking for some time when Death triangle appeared on the ramp-way after the match. Excuse the corny trope, but the real winners may truly be the fans when the House final meet Pac, Penta, and Fenix in a trios match at Double or Nothing. Until then the House of Black remains unstoppable in six man action.

Loser: Big Damo

A big debut for Big Damo was cut short by the newly christened Giant Killer Shawn Spear. In a match that seemed on the short side, it may have even been edited down for time, Damo did look impressive in the initial flurry. Damo then quickly ate a knee and a C4 and would lose the match in under three minutes

Winner: Kris Statlander

After not even initially being announced as a participant in the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament, a seemingly more focused Statlander manages to find her way past Red Velvet in the opening round, despite Velvet's newfound alliance with Jade and her Baddies. Statlander looked as good as ever and now has a date with destiny set against Ruby Soho in the next round. The winner will face the winner of the Baker/Storm semi-final.

Loser: The TNT Championship Belt

Since the beginning of the TNT Championship, it has witnessed unknown amounts of destruction and disgusting bodily fluids. Say what you will about the prestige of the championship belt itself, but the truth remains that when the belt was destroyed with a sledgehammer this week by Sammy Guevara it may have only been the third-worst thing to happen to the belt this year.

Winner: Blackpool Combat Club

The American Dragon Bryan Danielson and the Rider of Death Jon Moxley successfully brought their brand of violence to the Rampage main Event this week. William Regal joined commentary opposite Chris Jericho once more as the two future hall of famers looked to massacre Dante Martin, and his mentor Matt Sydal. The match was much less one-sided than one may have assumed and it delivered on being a main event-worthy tag team extravaganza.
