While AEW's women's division continues to evolve and grow, one area that the division could surely improve is its level of importance to both the fans and the company itself. A surefire way to fix this would be to introduce a number of the women into factions within AEW, with Tay Conti and Anna Jay being some of the only names associated with a faction (The Dark Order) currently.

All Elite Wrestling has made a point to emphasize factions and stables within their roster, and putting some members of the women's roster in some of the bigger factions like the Jericho Appreciation Society and the Blackpool Combat Club could be a big change for AEW and their female talent.

10 Mercedes Martinez, The Factory

Mercedes Martinez in AEW

Since coming into AEW, Mercedes Martinez has felt a bit lost despite a couple of very solid matches with Thunder Rosa. Meanwhile, the one AEW faction that feels absolutely lost is QT Marshall's The Factory. With Anthony Ogogo still likely being a future priority for the company, it does feel like the group could use a facelift, and adding in one of the veterans in AEW would be a move in the right direction.

While it remains to be seen how it comes together, Martinez being courted by The Factory and becoming the female face of the group could help get the ball rolling with her for the future.

9 The Bunny, The House of Black

The Bunny inside the ring for AEW Cropped

Arguably one of the most underrated women in All Elite Wrestling, Allie has yet to get a big break within AEW, despite having proven she is a star during her run in Impact Wrestling. While she is the female member of the Andrade Family Office, she adds next to nothing to that group because she does not have a real character.

Should AEW want to keep The Bunny as a darker-style character, Allie jumping ship from the AFO to the House of Black could be a vertical move for the former Knockouts Champion.

8 Toni Storm, Blackpool Combat Club

Toni Storm in WWE

The newest addition to AEW's women's division, Toni Storm arrived in All Elite Wrestling, debuting in a qualifying match for the Owen Hart Tournament. Arriving to much fanfare, Toni is looking to break a disappointing streak, coming off a lackluster NXT run and an even more so main roster run on SmackDown.

If Storm immediately wanted to make a difference in AEW, she could find herself seeking the approval of her former boss, William Regal, who is putting together a group of the roughest and toughest wrestlers in AEW. Having Storm attempt to join the group could open more possibilities with women and men both vying for the Blackpool Badge of Honor from Regal.

7 Diamanté, a reformed LAX

Diamante On AEW Dark

Diamanté is a name that is not often featured on AEW Dynamite or AEW Rampage, most often wrestling on AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation. Despite that, she has been attached to AEW for quite some time, with her potential ceiling being lowered after her original tag-team partner, Ivelisse, burnt all her bridges with the company after a match with Thunder Rosa.

With Eddie Kingston now officially paired up with Santana & Ortiz, the former LAX members are back together once again. During their time as LAX in Impact Wrestling, Diamanté was the female member of the group, so adding her back would only feel right, and would also reward her for having been working the lower shows for the past 2 years.

6 Serena Deeb, The Jericho Appreciation Society

Serena-Deeb-1

Serena Deeb is arguably one of the best women's wrestlers alive right now. This may potentially be a controversial move, but joining the group of Sports Entertainers in AEW who constantly put down pro wrestling, would be a money move. It has worked wonders for the young Daniel Garcia already and could help elevate Deeb even further by giving her a great heel character.

Being attached to the group would allow Deeb to continue her current gimmick of hosting open challenges for rookies, where she beats them down and toys with them, while showcasing her wrestling skills, despite calling herself a Sports Entertainer alongside Jericho and friends.

5 Jade Cargill, The Pinnacle

Jade Cargill Mortal Kombat

With the current AEW TBS Women's Champion already being managed by Smart Mark Sterling, there is already a tie between Jade Cargill and MJF, as Sterling is still often associated with Max on AEW programming after originally debuting during the MJF vs Jon Moxley feud in 2020.

With Wardlow out of The Pinnacle, and FTR likely following him, the faction will be down to just Shawn Spears and MJF, meaning that they could very well go into rebuild mode. What better way to build for the future than signing on the fastest rising star in AEW's women's division and the current TBS Champion, who just so happens to have a gimmick that would match perfectly standing next to MJF?

4 Julia Hart, The House of Black

Julia Hart AEW

Occurring in December 2021, Julia Hart would be one of the people to receive Malakai Black's mist, directly in her eye. In the months since then, Julia has been seen wearing an eye patch and has begun going down a darker road. Now wrestling as a heel on AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation, and appearing to have lost all the sense of joy she once had, Hart's eventual full-turn seems imminent.

Adding Julia Hart to the monster group that is the House of Black would likely be a big move for the young AEW star, though it would also be a huge test to see if she could pull off such a drastically different type of role compared to her cheerleader gimmick.

3 Britt Baker, New All-Female Faction

dr-britt-baker-dmd

While she has become a polarizing figure to AEW fans and critics alike thanks to her much-maligned AEW Women's World Championship reign, Britt Baker does remain one of the biggest stars in AEW. Offering something new for D.M.D. should be an important move that AEW makes in the near future.

Similar to the introduction of The Inner Circle, in which Chris Jericho surrounded himself with younger talent, having Britt Baker form an all-female group that could be the future of AEW would be a smart move, as long as Baker does what Jericho did by actually elevating the surrounding talent, something she failed to do as champion.

2 Leyla Hirsch, Team Taz

Leyla Hirsch

A move that AEW fans have been suggesting for months has been adding Leyla Hirsch into the ranks of Team Taz. With her style fitting more with Taz's style than Ricky Starks, it does make quite a bit of sense and would once again be an indication of a heightened sense of importance being placed on the women's division.

With Hirsch becoming a straight-up heel in recent months, there is no better time than now to move her from being alone to adding her to Taz's faction alongside Ricky Starks, Powerhouse Hobbs, and HOOK.

1 Jamie Hayter, Blackpool Combat Club

Jamie-Hayter

Going a similar route as Wheeler Yuta did with the Best Friends, Jamie Hayter should turn on Britt Baker and Rebel, putting her name into the hat for the Blackpool Combat Club. Hayter has gotten great reactions from the crowd whenever she has been put in a big-time match in AEW, and it is only a matter of time before she and Baker need to split, so why not do it in an interesting manner?

With Hayter being one of the strongest women in AEW, and with her style being much more aggressive than any other woman in the company, she makes all the sense in the world to join the BCC. Not only would it make sense, but it would immediately position Hayter as an important figure to the fanbase.
