All Elite Wrestling president Tony Khan has revealed that he hopes to one day run an AEW event out of the home stadium Fulham Football Club -- the London-based soccer club owned by the Khan family.

During a recent chat with Dave Meltzer and Garrett Gonzales on Wrestling Observer Radio, Khan revealed that he wants AEW to cross the pond run shows in England.

I do want to come to England. It’s a huge part of my life," Khan said, before referencing AEW's UK TV deal with ITV. "It’s a great thing we have with ITV. It’s been amazing for us. We have great wrestlers from the UK, male and female. I can’t announce exact dates, but I want to bring AEW to Craven Cottage. I think all the new additions would be the best home for AEW,” he continued.

Craven Cottage is situated in West London and has served as Fulham's FC home ground since 1896. At a little over 19,000, its capacity is modest, but it is generally regarded as one of the quaintest soccer stadiums in the world.

AEW is yet to run a show outside of the United States, but the UK would be an ideal location thanks to the popularity of the art form in the country. A professional wrestling event taking place at Craven Cottage would certainly be a first, and the pitch would probably take a beating, but it would certainly be cool to see.

Tony Khan's father  Shahid Khan purchases Fulham Football Club from Mohamed Al-Fayed on 12 July 2013. Tony was named as co-owner and Vice Chairman/Director of Football Operations of the club in February of 2017. The Khans also own the Jacksonville Jaguars, whose stadium, TIAA Bank Field, has been used for AEW's Stadium Stampede matches. Could we see a Stadium Stampede at Craven Cottage in the near future?
