Aliyah is officially a WWE record breaker! The SmackDown Superstar broke the record for the fastest match in WWE history with her victory over Natalya on this week's edition of SmackDown on FOX.

It all went down at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska on January 14. SmackDown newcomer Aliyah was set to go one-on-one with WWE veteran Natalya, but the taunting started before the match began. Backstage, Aliyah talked about how she was worried about embarrassing herself in what was her first singles match since moving to WWE's main roster during the 2021 WWE Draft. Natalya approached Aliyah and informed her that there was no shame in losing to her since she holds three records in the Guinness Book of Records. Aliyah wasn't impressed and said she didn't even know that they still made the Guinness Book of Records. Natalya then promised to break the record for the fastest WWE win.

Natalya attacked Aliyah before the bell rang to signal the beginning of their match. It looked as though Aliyah would be unable to compete, but before the referee could officially call the match off, Aliyah convinced him that she was good to go. The bell finally rang, and Aliyah immediately caught Natalya in a tight roll-up for the 1-2-3, scoring a clean pinfall victory over a much more experienced opponent, much to the delight of the crowd.

As Aliyah celebrated, the ring announcer announced that Aliyah had set a new WWE record for the fastest victory! Of course, this being WWE, it's hard to tell who held the record before Aliyah broke it, but it was probably The Rock with his win over Big Boss Man at Survivor Series '98.

Later on, in a backstage interview, Aliyah spoke about her victory and said "what a time to be alive!"

So, how long until WWE prints up some "Aliyah 3:17" t-shirts?
