The WWE Hall Of Fame is supposed to represent the best when it comes to WWE, and elsewhere within wrestling. Each year, WWE inducts legends into the HOF as a show of respect and celebration for their work. There exists a celebrity wing in the HOF, made to show appreciation to crossover names who have made an impact.

Some of those deserve true recognition for what they have accomplished within WWE, though some should perhaps be nowhere near the HOF, which consists of some of the greatest names to ever step foot inside a wrestling, with some celebrities certainly more deserving than others.

12 William Perry

William Perry Wrestlemania 2

William “The Refrigerator” Perry is a former Super Bowl Champion, and a huge name in the world of American Football. He was one of the competitors who made an appearance at Wrestlemania 2, in the WWE vs NFL Battle Royal, which was eventually won by Andre the Giant.

“The Fridge” made a mark on the contest, eliminating Tony Atlas, before being thrown out by Big John Studd. Perry would get his revenge by giving Studd a handshake, only to pull him over the top rope too. It was a fun moment, but Perry was one of many NFL stars in the match and didn’t do much else in wrestling from that point on.

11 Drew Carey

Drew Carey Royal Rumble 2001 Cropped

Drew Carey may be a famous name, hosting The Price Is Right and Whose Line Is It Anyway, but being a big name shouldn’t necessarily warrant a Hall of Fame induction, especially when he was there for just one night.

During the 2001 Royal Rumble, Carey made an impromptu appearance, and was convinced into competing in the match. He came face to face with Kane in what was a great moment, before eliminating himself from the match. And that was that. His Rumble cameo was fun, but so was Wayne Rooney punching Wade Barrett, and no one wants to see Rooney in the HOF.

10 Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold Schwarzenegger

Schwarzenegger is a global icon through bodybuilding, politics, and acting. Though he was friends with the likes of Bruno Sammartino, he didn’t do much in WWE. He made an appearance in 2000, being awarded a WWE Title replica, before taking out Triple H.

It would take over a decade for him to return, promoting a movie, and influencing Trips' Wrestlemania 31, Terminator-style entrance. His impact on the industry has been negligible, except maybe his contributions to the world of bodybuilding.

9 Kid Rock

Kid Rock Performing in WWE

Though he may not have played a role in any storylines or many segments, Kid Rock has been a player in lot of WWE songs, whether that be WrestleMania themes or being used for The Undertaker’s entrance.

He has performed at several shows, most notably at a few WrestleMania events, and the 2012 Tribute to the Troops show. His contribution to the company is decent, so an argument can be made for his inclusion into the HOF.

8 Ozzy Osbourne

Ozzy Osbourne at WrestleMania

As a member of the legendary Black Sabbath, Osbourne is a huge name within the music world, and he is also a WWE fan. He made his first WWE appearance all the way back at Wrestlemania 2, managing fellow countrymen, the British Bulldogs. He would pop up now and again, but his next prominent role was as Guest Host of Raw.

Along with wife Sharon, he helped host “Raw’s Got Talent”, in which several stars would perform in a talent show. Some fans found it hilarious, whilst others rolled their eyes, but this would be the most notable thing that he did with the company.

7 William Shatner

William Shatner Kings Court WWE

William Shatner is a renowned actor, making his claim to fame in the Star Trek series. In addition to his success in the film and TV industry, Shatner also made a career by making mock song albums, covering songs but in an exaggerated spoken-word style. This is something he did for WWE theme songs, and fans loved it.

Shatner first appeared in WWE in 1995 as a guest on Jerry Lawler’s “King’s Court”, returning the week after too, getting physical with Road Dogg. And that was pretty much it from Shatner, who didn’t have too much of an impact, though his cameos were fun.

6 Snoop Dogg

Sasha Banks And Snoop Dogg Cropped

Selling millions of albums worldwide, Snoop Dogg is a hip-hop legend. His first appearance in WWE came at Wrestlemania 24, acting as Master of Ceremonies for the Lumberjill Match. It wasn’t the best, but he delivered a clothesline to Santino Marella following the match.

A couple of years later, he would serve as Guest Host of Raw, getting physical, this time with Chavo Guerrero. His real-life cousin, Sasha Banks, is now one of the biggest stars in wrestling, and he did the honor of rapping her to the ring at Wrestlemania 32, with his voice being used for her entrance theme. He also had a shock cameo appearance in AEW.

5 Bob Uecker

Bob Uecker rose to prominence in the world of baseball, before becoming a huge TV personality. At Wrestlemania 3, he was guest ring announcer for the historic clash between Andre The Giant and Hulk Hogan, with Uecker's voice being heard for several years on the old WWE intro video package.

At Wrestlemania 4, he would show up again, this time going face-to-face with Andre, bad-mouthing him, which led to The Giant grabbing him by the throat in a moment etched in the history books.

4 Donald Trump

Trump is someone who has done a lot within the world, with one of his avenues being WWE. WrestleManias 4 and 5 were hosted in the Trump Plaza, in which he was in attendance for both events. In 2007, he and Mr. McMahon feuded, leading to the “Battle of the Billionaires” at Wrestlemania 23, where Trump’s pick, Bobby Lashley, defeated Umaga, who was McMahon’s pick. This led to the infamous moment in which McMahon would be shaved bald.

In 2009, Trump returned, this time kayfabe buying Raw, leading to a commercial-free show, with fans getting refunds. This was a short stint, with McMahon buying it back for twice the price.

3 Pete Rose

Pete Rose WWE WrestleMania

Pete Rose’s career in WWE is something that is incredibly fun. Starting at Wrestlemania 14, Rose was the guest announcer for Kane’s match with The Undertaker. Kane would attack the former MLB star, giving him a Tombstone Piledriver. This wasn’t the end for Rose, who tried to enact revenge the following year, disguised as the San Diego Chicken, but was once again taken out by Kane. The third time wasn’t the charm because at the third 'Mania in a row, Kane got the upper hand, this time with the help of Rikishi.

His rivalry with Kane is legendary, with it cropping up here and there, with other times including No Mercy 2002, and on an episode of Raw.

2 Mike Tyson

Stone Cold Steve Austin WWE Champion Cropped

“The Baddest Man On The Planet” is one of boxing’s biggest legends. He also played a role in WWE’s Attitude Era becoming the phenomenon that it was. Being introduced to be the Guest Enforcer for Steve Austin vs. Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 14, he came at odds with Austin on Raw, with the pair brawling in one of the most memorable moments in wrestling history, spurring up a mass amount of interest and media attention for the company.

At WrestleMania, he shockingly sided with Austin, counting the pinfall, and knocking out Shawn Michaels in an incredible moment. In 2010, Tyson returned to WWE, this time dishing out a punch to Chris Jericho, making amends with Michaels. Though his appearances weren’t very often, he was a hugely impactful part of WWE making history.

1 Mr. T

Mr T And Hulk Hogan Vs Roddy Piper And Paul Orton Cropped

Whether it be his role in The A-Team, or uttering legendary movie lines in Rocky 3, Mr. T became an icon, making his crossover with WWE so much more significant. In the lead up to the very first WrestleMania, he brought about a lot of buzz and mainstream attention, main eventing the show alongside Hulk Hogan to take on Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff, helping to make the show the blockbuster event that it is today.

The following year, he would continue his rivalry with Piper, before appearing on TV several times over the years. He also showed up in WCW, siding with Hulk Hogan, and would even defeat Kevin Sullivan at Starrcade. Being one of the few men to main event WrestleMania is a huge honor, and even more so that it was the first.
