WWE had a compelling idea in mind for Bray Wyatt's "Firefly Fun House", according to tattoo artist and illustrator Kyle A. Scarborough.

On Friday evening, Scarborough explained on his Twitter page that WWE wanted to do a live action Firefly Fun House. According to Scarborough, Wyatt (real name Windham Rotunda) was only interested in doing it if he could play the characters on his own. Scarborough then tweeted a concept for a character, FFH Huskus, that never made it to WWE programming:

Wyatt was released from his WWE contract on July 31, which caught much of the wrestling world by surprise. Wyatt was seemingly gearing up for a return following a hiatus that lasted almost four months. He was also a fan favorite, main event star and top merchandise seller during his final years with the company.

Wyatt's 90-day non-compete clause with WWE expired on Friday, so he's now eligible to sign with any promotion he wishes. For what it's worth, his former tag team partner, Matt Hardy, teased the idea of a reunion on his Instagram page.

The 34-year-old Wyatt was reportedly released because of budget cuts and attitude issues. It was reported that he and WWE chairman Vince McMahon didn't exactly have the best working relationship, either. Wyatt has been mostly quiet regarding his release from the company.

Wyatt's Final WWE Match & Appearance

The two-time Universal Champion wrestled his final match for WWE on day two of WrestleMania 37. Wyatt lost a singles match to Randy Orton after he was betrayed by Alexa Bliss. Wyatt would make his final WWE appearance on the post-WrestleMania Apr. 12 edition of Monday Night Raw, where he explained that he was seeking a fresh start.

Wyatt was kept off of television for several months before the company released him. He's reportedly exploring Hollywood projects right now, so wrestling might not be Wyatt's lone post-WWE adventure.
