MMA is a sport dominated by larger-than-life personalities, and in a growing sport, there has been a massive demand for content about the sport and the fighters within it. It's a bigger-than-life sport, it should have larger-than-life shows and podcasts for them, right?

Luckily for MMA fans, many of those fighters have taken it upon themselves to create that content in the form of podcasts and internet shows. From the likes of Ashlee Evans-Smith to Michael Bisping, there are many shows that MMA fans should listen to, with some shows ultimately having more of a focus on MMA than others.

Since retiring from the sport in 2014 to pursue stand-up comedy, Schaub has kept himself relevant in the sport through a variety of different podcasts, however, none is bigger than his Showtime Sports Below The Belt podcast.

The show that comes out weekly has been running since 2018 and has since introduced its Food Truck Diaries series, which has been successful as well. With over three hundred thousand subscribers on YouTube, Schaub's show is one of the biggest in the MMA space.

Daniel Cormier since his retirement has become the UFC's multitool. He has always been one of the most entertaining personalities in the business, and has put those skills to good use. He is doing commentary on the fight nights, doing analysis work, and is also doing podcasts for the UFC's broadcast network ESPN.

Originally doing a weekly podcast with Ariel Helwani until June, once Helwani departed ESPN, he was replaced with former NFL All-Pro Ryan Clark.

7 Anik and Florian Podcast

Jon Anik UFC 261

Every Monday since 2015, Jon Anik and former UFC title challenger Kenny Florian have been bringing quality podcasts to fans.

It's one of the longest-running, most consistent MMA shows as well. Despite both men having commentary duties with Anik for the UFC, and Florian recently signing with the PFL, they've continued to put out a great show. They've also recently welcomed UFC welterweight Belal Muhammad into the fold, having him host a weekly show on the Anik and Florian YouTube channel.

Weighing In is considered one of the greatest MMA podcasts and for good reason.

Former Strikeforce Lightweight Champion Josh Thomson and former referee John McCarthy have been putting out multiple podcasts a week since 2019. The show is known for putting a higher emphasis on Bellator MMA more so than other shows, in large part because of both fighters association with the company. Thomson regularly does analysis for the company, and McCarthy is the organization's current color commentator.

5 You're Welcome W/Chael Sonnen

There are few fighters that could've moved on from fighting as well as Chael Sonnen has, and it makes sense. Sonnen in his prime was the greatest talker of all time, and one of the greatest personalities throughout the entire history of the sport. Since retiring in 2019 has blown up in YouTube popularity, as he puts out daily videos and also puts out his weekly podcast You're Welcome.

Aljamain Sterling is on a tremendous run right now that does not get the credit it deserves. Sterling is on a six-fight winning streak, having defeated the likes of Cory Sandhagen and Pedro Munhoz in that stretch. He's currently the UFC's Bantamweight Champion after capturing the belt following a disqualification victory over Petr Yan earlier this year.

In between fights, Sterling hosts The Weekly Scraps, a weekly podcast focused on fighting and the sport of MMA in general. The channel for the show currently has twelve thousand subscribers.

3 The TimboSugarShow

Sean O'Malley is one of the UFC's fastest rising stars, and for good reason. O'Malley has an insane highlight reel, with a crazy look and personality, and gets the promotion side of MMA like few other fighters appear to do so.

Since debuting in the big show in 2017, O'Malley has begun giving his fans lots more of behind-the-scenes content. O'Malley streams on Twitch, and in 2018 started the TimboSugarShow, a weekly podcast that O'Malley hosts with his friend and coach TJ Welch. The two discuss MMA, marijuana, pop culture, and everything in between.

2 Believe You Me

Michael Bisping UFC 209 Presser

Similar to the aforementioned Chael Sonnen, Michael Bisping just gets "it", when it comes to fight promotion and building a fanbase. The former champion Bisping was known for his trash talk before the fights, and his fun fighting style when actually in the cage.

In 2017 as Bisping was winding down his fighting career, he launched the Believe You Me podcast with comedian Luis J. Gomez. The bi-weekly show has cultivated quite the fanbase, with over a hundred thousand YouTube subscribers to date.

1 Sex and Violence

Ashlee Evans Smith UFN Phoenix

Ashlee Evans Smith's Sex and Violence podcast is one of the more interesting MMA podcasts out there. Despite being hosted by an MMA fighter, and the show constantly having MMA personalities on the program, they don't often talk about the sport itself.

Rather than talking about MMA all the time, they instead focus on relationships, dating, and yes, taboo subjects like sex. Smith's YouTube channel only has around a thousand YouTube subscribers, but it's absolutely one of the more unique MMA based programs out there.
