Yes, we're all watching to see if Sami Zayn will be the one who dethrones Roman Reigns, but there's some other pretty exciting business to take care of first. Tonight's Elimination Chamber kicked off with one of two matches after which the event is named. An Elimination Chamber match to determine who will challenge Bianca Belair for the Raw Women's Title at WrestleMania.

Asuka Is Going To WrestleMania

Yes, there were six women in this match, but really, there was only ever going to be one winner. Ever since Asuka reached into her pre-WWE history and pulled a little from it at the Royal Rumble, it's been evident she's about to go on a pretty special run. That run really kicked into gear at Elimination Chamber as The Empress booked her WrestleMania spot, making Carmella tap to finish the night's opening bout.

Asuka did have the benefit of entering the match last. Liv Morgan and Natalya kicked things off, Raquel Rodriguez entered next, followed by Nikki Cross - who was the first to be eliminated- Carmella, and finally the eventual winner, Asuka. Although Morgan was the second to be eliminated, she continued the strong showing she has been exhibiting since revamping her character as of late.

Asuka's Path Through The Chamber

Asuka and Natalya had Morgan in submissions, and even that technically wasn't enough. Refusing to tap, it wasn't until Morgan passed out that she was officially eliminated. Nattie went out with a whimper shortly after that, and then Asuka teamed with Carmella before eventually making her tap too to double-pin Rodriguez.

The bell rang, the dust settled, and now we know what the Raw Women's Title match will look like at WrestleMania. Asuka versus Belair. Arguably a match many fans will be looking forward to more than Charlotte Flair versus Rhea Ripley. It certainly feels fresher. The only potential sticking point is WWE likely wanting to fans to side with Belair. A loss here could lead to what might well be a needed heel turn.
