Survivor Series featured some good in-ring action on Sunday night, but it was a pretty strange show. The Rock was celebrated throughout the PPV due to it marking 25 years since his WWE debut, but never actually showed up despite a lot of fans getting their hopes up. There was also a bizarre thread throughout the show that revolved around Vince McMahon's very expensive golden egg.

Who Stole The Boss's Egg?

The chairman boasted that the egg was a gift from The Rock and is worth $100 million, and then it was stolen. McMahon ordered every Superstar, from both Raw and SmackDown, show up for TV the following night so he could weasel out the thief. Monday's Raw kicked off with McMahon revealing whoever tracks down the egg would be rewarded with a WWE Title shot at the end of the night.

Shortly after that Sami Zayn revealed he knew the whereabouts of the egg, and he wasn't lying. Zayn brought Austin Theory to McMahon's office at which point the young Superstar owned up and explained himself. It was at that point things took a turn for Zayn. Theory explained he just wanted a selfie with the egg, and when security disturbed his photoshoot he grabbed it and ran.

Theory Gets Rewarded

McMahon admired Theory's bravery so much that he dropped the imminent charges and awarded him the title shot instead. A gobsmacked Zayn was then told to shut up by the boss before being informing Zayn that no one likes a snitch. Theory then prepared for his title match against Big E at the end of the show, but as it turns out, the luck he stumbled upon in McMahon's office didn't extend to the ring.

Theory's match with Big E was a relatively short one due to it being marred with distractions. It turns out Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens still haven't worked out their issues as they bickered and brawled outside the ring. Theory let that distraction get the better of him and Big E used it to his advantage, picking up a relatively easy win. As for the golden egg, now that it's back with the boss, it'll probably be the last we see of it on WWE TV.
