It appears that turmoil pervades through all areas of the AEW locker room, with reports coming out about heat surrounding Thunder Rosa. Appearing on Dynamite to announce she will be taking time off with injury, and that an interim AEW Women's World Champion is slated to be crowned at All Out, it appears that Thunder Rosa's recent feuds have had more hostility than what has appeared on our screens.

Thunder Rosa's Heat With Dr. Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter

Thunder Rosa vs Britt Baker Lights Out Match

Though there have been rumors floating around since the end of Dynamite, reports via Fightful Select outline that there is a significant amount of heat around Thunder Rosa coming from other members of the AEW women's division. Fightful's report states that Rosa and Dr. Britt Baker 'can't stand each other', and that an abrasive relationship between the two has been present for over a year now, but that both sides have been open to working with one another and remaining professional.

Having been on-screen rivals as of late, fans will remember various remarks made by Baker, particularly referencing the accusation of Rosa sandbagging her opponents and being uncooperative. Further relationships have been strained following Battle of the Belts III, where Jamie Hayter came out of her championship match with Thunder Rosa with a broken nose. As a result, the reports share that Hayter too harbors some heat towards Rosa for her working stiff.

Per the Fightful Select report, Thunder Rosa has a somewhat mixed reputation amongst the rest of the AEW women's locker room. The report discusses how to some, Rosa has emerged as a locker room leader since joining the company, said to have been a driving force in getting young talent on shows. Meanwhile, Fightful also reports that Rosa is seen as being difficult to work with by others, and has developed an ego.

Either way, the Fightful report also confirms that Thunder Rosa's injury is legitimate. A separate PWInsider report discusses that the issue centers on the discs in Rosa's back, an injury she has been working through for some time, and that there is currently no schedule for a return. Thunder Rosa's time off could potentially help cool this reported heat, letting all parties involved cool down whilst she recovers.
