Tickets for WrestleMania 38 weekend are reportedly going quickly now.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer wrote "WWE sold more than 75,000 total tickets at the highest prices of any wrestling show in history for its two-day event." Having made WrestleMania 38 a two-day event, Meltzer also noted that this also marks "the most tickets the company has ever sold for a single event in its first days."

On top of that, Meltzer noted that around 37,500 tickets had been sold for each of the two nights.

WrestleMania 38 will be held at AT&T Stadium (home of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys) in Arlington, Texas on Apr. 2-3 weekend. The venue also hosted WrestleMania 32 in 2016. This will be the third straight WrestleMania event to follow the two-day format.

Earlier this week, Meltzer reported that ticket sales were initially "lower than" expected. That clearly isn't a problem now, and the show is still four and a half months away.

It has been reported that WrestleMania 38 will feature Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar, though plans can always change. Reigns and Lesnar squared off in the main events of WrestleMania 31 and WrestleMania 34.

WWE claimed that WrestleMania 32 an attendance record with 101,763 fans, but this number has been disputed. AT&T Stadium, which opened in 2009, has a capacity 80,000 but it can hold up to 105,000 spectators.

The Two-Day WrestleMania Format Is Perfect

WrestleMania 35, the last WrestleMania event that was kept to one day, lasted more than seven hours. It's simply hard for fans to stay interested over such a long period of time. The two-day format works perfectly, because it doesn't force WWE to pack a bunch of matches in all in one day. The two-night format has been well-received by fans and critics, and two nights of WrestleMania is always better than one. If the two-day set up is a success again next year, it wouldn't be surprising if WWE decided to adopt it permanently.
