15 NBA Players Caught Cheating On Their Spouses In The Most Embarrassing Ways

These NBA players were outed in some very embarrassing ways. Maybe they just shouldn't cheat.

We view sports as a family affair. Parents and children across the globe get together to root for their favorite teams, while these players showcase their skills on the court. One aspect that we all forget about these rich, famous celebrities, is that they are hopping from city to city, partying their asses off, hooking up with women all over the country. They may have a side piece in Miami, while their wife watches the kids in Phoenix, or they could be using the fame card to bring home a thot from the club in Sacramento, while their spouse his back in New York. It's naive to think that infidelity is non-existent in the NBA.

Therefore, instead of sweeping all this smut under the rug, today, we are going to give a shout to some NBA players who were caught creepin'. How did these basketball wives (yes, some of these women were on the show) find out about their husband's promiscuity? Well, some of the tales are humiliating, some of them are shameful, and some of them just make you scream WTF? Make sure you lock your phone and change your password before reading about 15 NBA players caught cheating (on spouses) in the most embarrassing ways.

15 Antoine Walker

via yahoofinance.com

Walker should have starred in Kanye's video for "Gold Digger," because according to reports, his ex-fiancee, Evelyn Lozada of Basketball Wives, spent all his money. The couple, who had been together since 1998, called of their engagement in 2008, leaving Walker heartbroken. During ESPN's 30 for 30 documentary, Broke, Walker portrayed Lozada as a cold-hearted woman, who's frivolous spending was the main driving force behind his bankruptcy and their break-up.

Lozada fired back shortly after the documentary was aired, stating she knew nothing of the insane debt that the former three-time All-Star was in, but broke her nuptials due to Walker's constant cheating. These rumors haven't been confirmed, but it's gotta be embarrassing to air out your dirty laundry, and go broke at the same time.

14 Daniel Gibson

via gossipthot.wordpress.com

Former Cavaliers guard, Daniel "Booby" Gibson never did too much on the court, but scored a smokin' hot singer, Keyshia Cole, off of it. The platinum recording artist and Gibson were wed in 2011, and their wedding was featured on the BET reality show, Keyshia & Daniel: Family First. Unfortunately, the couple broke up in 2014 because Gibson put strippers first, and family second.

To make matters worse, Cole aired out her displeasure with Gibson's infidelity in her music, putting out the song "Next Time (Won't Give My Heart Away)." "Booby" stayed quiet about his unfaithfulness, and never fully admitted to his wrongdoing, but opened up in an interview with Rollout Magazine, stating "I won’t say that I didn’t cheat, but I will say that I cheated my wife out of a friend in a lot of situations where I was supposed to hold her down and I didn’t..."  Come on bro, you slept with a stripper, just admit to it.

13 Tony Parker

via nydailynews.com

Come on Tony, just because the French have a reputation for being great lovers, doesn't mean you can go around two-timing your wife. And not just any wife; Eva "Smokin' Hot Every Man's Fantasy" Longoria. She is one of the most beautiful women in the world! The super couple got married back in 2007, but in 2010, Longoria filed for divorce due to Parker's alleged infidelity. The full story is even juicier than a Desperate Housewives episode.

Apparently, Longoria discovered some sexts on Parker's computer when he forgot to log off! But they weren't just with some random lady, the four-time NBA Champion was having an affair with his teammate's wife, Erin Barry. Now, two Spurs marriages were ruined! Barry vehemently denies the rumors, but I think all the proof we need is in BOTH sets of divorce papers.

12 Dwyane Wade

via latimes.com

The past few years, Wade has been around the NBA, jumping from Miami, to Chicago, and then to Cleveland to play with his BFF, LeBron James. Back in 2013, Wade and Union were on a so-called "break" in their marriage, giving Wade the perfect opportunity to spread his seed. And no, we are not talking figuratively, Wade legitimately fathered and illegitimate child with long-time friend, Aja Metoyer. Union was well aware of the child, and accepted Wade back into her life, as the couple has been happily married since.

The whole situation has a weird dynamic, as TMZ reported that the couple really wasn't on a break, citing Union's social media posts during the alleged separation. It gets even weirder, as Metoyer views herself as part of the Wade family, even writing a crazy open letter to Union about the affair.  Fortunately for Wade, his love triangle has worked out, and everyone seems happy.

11 Carmelo Anthony

sportingnews.com

‘She’s married, I’m not.’ Okay, 'Melo, slow your roll buddy. I know you only spent one year at Syracuse, but that's not how marriage works. According to multiple sources, the ten-time All-Star would consistently cheat on his wife, Alani "La La" Vasquez, while traveling with the Knicks. After 12 years of being together, and over six years of marriage, La La moved out of their apartment in 2016, but divorce has yet to be filed for.

The power couple has been at the center of several cheating rumors for years anyway. In 2010, there was the random Twitter troll controversy, in which Anthony offered up $5,000 for video evidence of someone beating up groupie Kat Stacks. Oddly suspicious and borderline illegal, but that's not all. Another groupie, Asia Monroe, has also come out and admitted to a multiple month affair with Anthony, posting DMs online, and letting La La know she wasn't the only one. But 'Melo wasn't the only one allegedly disloyal. After a heated game against the Celtics in 2013, Kevin Garnett told Anthony that Lala tasted "like Honey Nut Cheerios." Maybe it was just trash talk, as La La denies those rumors, but damn, that's hilarious.

10 Andrei Kirilenko

via complex.com

The former Russian-born NBA forward, Andrei Kirilenko, may not actually fit the theme of our list. But if for some reason decided to stray a little too far from the nest, his wife, Russian pop singer Masha Lopatova, would be completely okay with it. In an interview with ESPN Magazine, Mrs. AK-47 stated...

"What's forbidden is always desirable. And athletes, particularly men, are susceptible to all the things they are offered. It's the same way raising children - If I tell my child, 'No pizza, no pizza, no pizza,' what does he want more than anything? Pizza."

Not your typical comments from a superstar wife, but these Russians aren't your typical couple, and she does make a great point. That is sound logic anyone can comprehend.  The one-time All-Star has never been rumored to be disloyal, but his once-a-year hall pass is still valid.

9 Charles Barkley

via goodgamebro.com

"You keep your wives and girlfriends away from each other. I’m just telling you, that’s never positive." Damn, Charles, for someone who has been married to the same woman, Maureen Blumhardt, since 1989, you sure have got some words of wisdom for your fellow NBAers. You gotta give the Hall of Famer props though, he got in front of the cheating rumors, and didn't let them catch up to him in an embarrassing way.

In the past, Barkley has been spotted trying to proposition a stripper, yet got turned down. In another case, he was pulled over for DUI and speeding, admitting to cops that he was going fast because he "was gonna drive around the corner and get ----job." The 11-time All-Star even went on a rant on TNT about San Antonio girls. We aren't sure if he's just an idiot, or a genius, for putting his infidelity in the spotlight.

8 Raymond Felton

via nypost.com

It's one thing to secretly cheat on your spouse, but it's a whole other story when there are firearms involved. The current OKC backup point guard was in some hot water in 2014 during his time in New York. Apparently, his wife of only 19 months, Ariane Raymondo-Felton ratted him out to the police for possessing some illegal handguns. This all came after a spat between the couple over Felton's alleged multiple lovers. The former Tarheel tried to intimidate his wife by flashing his gun but Raymondo-Felton wasn't having any of that crap.

The couple then divorced, to the shock of no one. Rapper Fabulous even sang about Felton's apparent infidelities in his song "Cuffin' Season". "4 Celtics, Knicks guard, you know Felton, This n**** in Atlanta AirTran her, no Delta. Been naughty all year trying to end it nicely, Summer hoes turning into winter wifeys."

7 Nick Young

via etonline.com

In the age of smartphones, you've gotta be careful what you say, even when you are around friends. Nick "Swaggy P" Young was on the road with teammate, D'Angelo Russell, and unknowingly admitted to picking up a 19-year-old thot at the club while engaged to rapper Iggy Azalea. You have gotta be kidding me Swaggy P, Azalea is a dime and you definitely messed this one up.

On the other hand, Russell seriously broke bro code. To secretly record and post a video of a teammate admitting to cheating is just disgraceful. The couple has since broken up and Iggy even responded to the video, thanking Russell for the candid confession. Both Young and Russell are no longer with the Lakers, but that's an embarrassing way to get caught cheating.

6 Michael Jordan

via complex.com

Even the greatest are not immune to the aftermath of an extra-marital affair. In 2002, Jordan and wife Juanita Vanoy, split after over over twelve years of marriage. They tried to work things out, but eventually parted ways for good in 2006. In 2002, Jordan's former mistress, Karla Knafel sued the GOAT for $5 million after she claimed that Jordan was the father of her baby, stemming from an affair that lasted from 1989-1991. Originally, Jordan admitted to paying her $250,000 in hush money, but that wasn't enough. Knafel lost the suit when the paternity tests came back negative.

That's not the only time that the six-time NBA champion has been accused of fathering an illegitimate child. In 2013, Pamela Smith came forward and filed a paternity suit against MJ, stating that her 16-year-old son was the heir to the Jordan throne. She eventually lost the suit and was ordered to pay Jordan's legal fees.

Our most compelling (yet extremely conspiratorial) evidence is none other than NBA All-Star, Jimmy Butler. The NBA rumor mill has churned out this gem, stating that Butler is Jordan's long lost love child, but I guess we will just never know.

5 Kobe Bryant

via studybreaks.com

Back in 2003, the future Hall of Famer's world was shaken up when he was accused of sexual assault prior to medical treatment he was receiving in Colorado. At first, Bryant pulled the old Bill Clinton excuse that he did not have sexual relations with that woman.  But, when the police admitted to having Kobe's DNA as evidence, he admitted the sex was consensual. Eventually, the assault charge was dismissed, but Bryant and the accuser settled for an undisclosed amount in civil court.

Queue the Bryant's spouse, Vanessa Williams. She stuck by Bryant's side through the whole ordeal sporting some "I'm sorry I cheated on you" jewelry. After some other accusation of cheating in 2010, Williams filed for divorce from the 18-time All-Star in 2011. The couple reconciled their difference in 2013, and are now back together.

4 Shaquille O'Neal

Michael Caulfield/WireImage

Unfortunately for Shaq, he got caught in the Kobe Bryant sexual assault allegation fallout, as mentioned above. Pretty much, Kobe threw his big man under the bus, stating that this would have never happened if he just paid off his girls like Shaq did. O'Neal's relationship with Bryant was already on the rocks, but this finally pushed it over the edge. Big Diesel was out in LA, and even noted Kobe as one of the main reason's for his divorce with wife, Shaunie Nelson. Don't believe us, check out this diss track back in 2008.

O'Neal has allegedly been tied to other affairs including his long-time mistress, Vanessa Lopez, and Gilbert Arenas' then fiancee, Gloria Govan. After leaving the NBA, and maturing as an adult, Shaq has admitted to his wrongdoings, owning up to his extra-marital activities, and is now co-authoring a book with his ex-wife. Didn't expect this one to have a happy ending did you?

3 Stephon Marbury

via latimes.com

Marbury was the king of New York back in the early 2000s. He was an exciting point guard who always made headlines feuding with coach Brown. Low-income kids across America benefited from Marbury's generosity, as he unveiled a low-cost basketball shoe so everyone could play ball.

Off the court though, Marbury was dipping his pen in his own company ink. In 2006, rumors flared about the two-time All-Stars affair with his personal chef, Thurayyah Mitchell, while he was married to his wife, Tahsa . He agreed to pay Mitchell $900,000 in hush money, but fell $300,000 short, which she later received through arbitration. I'd like to think the situation started when Marbury approached Marshall, who was making hamburgers for dinner, saying "it looks like you need a little more meat in those buns."  That would have been epic!

Also, he had been accused of banging a MSG intern in the back of an SUV. The former NBAer is now playing into his 40s with the Beijing Fly Dragons in the Chinese Basketball Association. Despite the long career, there is no denying this whole situation was extremely embarrassing for Tasha and the rest of their family.

2 Lamar Odom

via mazech.com

The first rule of Hollywood is that you don't mess with the Kardashians. Back in 2009, the two-time NBA champion tied the not with reality show star, Khloe Kardashian. The power couple even had a reality show on E!, titled Khloe and Lamar. But, due to a history of drug abuse and unfaithfulness (which we will get into), the couple split in 2015.

After the divorce, Odom went into a drug-fueled bender and was found unconscious at the Love Ranch in Nevada, after several days of hooker and blow. Kardashian helped aid in his recovery and the couple still remains friends.

Now to the juicy details. Not once, not twice, but five times Odom was caught cheating on his then wife. Khloe even covered up one of his affairs when he cheated on her on her birthday! This was all discovered from a private investigator hired by Khloe. Even an insane rumor has spread that Odom hooked up with Kris Jenner, Khloe's mom! Clearly, Odom's drug issues and infidelity were an overall stain on his image.

1 Ray Allen

via hollywoodstreetking.com

There is no question to which NBAer got caught cheating in the most embarassing way.  Our winner today, ladies and gentleman, drum roll please... Ray Allen.  He's like a grandma using Facebook for the first time when it comes to trying to cheat via technology.  Back in 2010, he tweeted out a sext which was intended to be just a DM. He claimed he was hacked, which is fair, but this wouldn't be his last misstep.

In November 2017, Allen wasn't done with his online cheating ways. The ten-time All-Star was "catfished" by a dude who claimed to be several different women. How embarrassing for Allen and his wife, Shannon Walker Williams, who stood by his side in his first Twitter fiasco. There are so many crazy details about this story, but we are out of time here. Continue reading for more crazy cheating stories and rumors that make these superstars seem human.
