All signs point to yes! Or should I say, all "Steins" point to yes. ESPN's Marc Stein is reporting that Kevin Love is gonna opt out of his contract with the Cavaliers. Love was scheduled to make a $16.7 million base salary in 2015-2016
Stein tweeted this out just a few hours ago, "ESPN sources say Cavs forward Kevin Love has opted out of the final year of his contract and will be a free agent July 1."
There is no doubting that, if this is true, Kevin Love will have many suitors around the NBA. And one of them could just be the Boston Celtics - the team against which he suffered his season-ending injury in the first round of the playoffs.
Check out this interesting tweet from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports online and Fox Sports 1:
"Sources: If Kevin Love goes forward with visits in July, expect Boston to sell him on pursuing group of Love, Robin Lopez and...Paul Pierce."
