Basketball is a young man’s game. Sure, we have monsters like LeBron James who will probably be 40 before they even start fading from superstar status. But the trend over these past few years has been that younger players coming out of college, and some even younger who come straight from Europe, have been making instant impacts for their respective NBA teams. These are 19 and 20-year-olds who are already earning millions of dollars in both salary and endorsements. It is as they say, as soon as your name is called in the first round of the NBA draft, you are pretty much set for life if you know how to manage your money.
But the cash is not the only thing that drives these players. There is the love for the game, and also the recognition from the fans. There is also another factor that players might not talk about that often, but they would be lying if they told you it didn’t matter. Young NBA players are some of the guys who get to date some of the hottest women in the world. These fellas can pick and choose from whatever poll they want, and if they are lucky enough they will find a loving gal who will accompany them for the rest of their lives. There are also those who are still together with their high school and college sweethearts. One way or the other, these young NBA stars have stunning girlfriends and here are 15 examples that will make you drool.
15. Karl-Anthony Towns (Kawahine Andrade)
Every once in a while, a new player comes around that you can easily point the finger at and say, “this guy is going to be an MVP someday.” Karl-Anthony Towns has taken the NBA by storm with his skill and size. It is almost funny to think that this guy was only drafted a couple of years ago. The number one overall pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2015, Towns has already proven that he can play with the best of them. Just last season this kid averaged 25.1 points per game to go along with 12.3 rebounds. Those are All-Star numbers.
But the life of an NBA player is not just basketball. They also get to enjoy themselves away from the court, and let us just say that KAT really knows how to pick who to spend his time with. Just check out his girlfriend, Kawahine Andrade.
14. Kyrie Irving (Natalia Garibotto)
In a summer full of hurricanes, Kyrie Irving was responsible for one of the strongest to hit the NBA. When he said that he didn’t want to play with LeBron James anymore and wanted out of Cleveland, the basketball world turned upside down. That was just one of the best scorers in the game saying that he didn’t want to play with the best player in the game anymore. At least, that was what the media was reporting. Irving himself didn’t say anything about LeBron until he signed with the Celtics.
One way or the other, we are here to talk about Irving’s dating life. We are not sure if he is currently seeing anyone or just scouting the Boston scene, but if the past has taught us anything, it is that at 25, Kyrie has already dated more beautiful women than any of his peers. A perfect example of that was the stunning Natalia Garibotto.
13. Jahlil Okafor (Lauren Oglensky)
If you are a Philadelphia 76ers fan, you are someone who must either hate your team or be someone who trusts the process. For those who are not aware, the process is basically what the Sixers did for almost a decade as they were terrible and tanked season after season just to get a bunch of lottery and top five picks in order to stack their roster with young players who had massive potential. One of those players was the number three overall pick in the 2015 draft, Jahlil Okafor. The 6’11” center out of Duke has played a couple of seasons in the NBA already and has some solid numbers, with averages of almost 15 points and six rebounds per game for his career.
Dating wise, the big man is apparently dating a University of Arizona grad named Lauren Oglensky.
12. Nikola Vucevic (Nikoleta Pavlovic)
The oldest guy on our list, Nikola Vucevic has been in the NBA since 2011, when he was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers. The start of his career with the Sixers was not that impressive as he only managed to average 5.5 points per game in his rookie campaign. After that, he joined the Orlando Magic and quickly became one of their top players. In five seasons with the Magic, Vucevic has averaged 15.9 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.
As the oldest guy on our list, he is also one of only two to have tied the knot with a beautiful woman. At 26 years old, this Swiss center is married to the stunning Nikoleta Pavlović. He and his wife supposedly love America so much that he is even considering becoming a US citizen someday.
11. Ante Zizic (Paula Vulko)
Another international prospect to become part of this list is the Croatian big man, Ante Zizic. Despite only being 20 years old, this European center has been playing professional basketball since 2013. Yes, this guy has been a pro since he was 16 years old. He might not have any experience playing in the US or the NBA, but Zizic sure is an interesting prospect that Cleveland Cavaliers’ fans cannot wait to watch. If you haven’t connected the dots yet, Zizic was the young prospect that the Boston Celtics sent along with the Brooklyn Nets’ unprotected 2018 first round pick and a 2020 second round pick in exchange for Kyrie Irving.
10. Giannis Antetokounmpo (Mariah Riddlesprigger)
The Greek Freak is a terrifying man. This guy is unprecedented in so many ways that it is almost impossible to describe him. He is 6’11” tall but can play the point guard position. He has handles that would make several All-Star guards of the past envious. Not only that, he can use his size to score inside the paint as well. This kid also has a good jump shot that he has been steadily improving. Last season, he averaged 22.9 point, 8.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game. Oh yeah, he is only 22 years old. It is no surprise Kevin Durant recently said that The Greek Freak could end up becoming the greatest basketball player ever.
9. Harrison Barnes (Brittany Johnson)
When Harrison Barnes left the Golden State Warriors before the beginning of last season, many people thought he was making a huge mistake. After all, how can you leave a team that will unavoidably win the NBA championship? Well, if we are to look at it from his perspective, Barnes made the best decision he could at the time. This is a 25-year-old young prospect who could become an All-Star someday. In Golden State, he was nothing more than a side piece fans complained about when he missed a three-pointer. Barnes already had an NBA championship with the Warriors, so it was about time he left to build his own path. In Dallas, he quickly became one of their top players and went up from averaging 11 points in his last season with Golden State to 19 in his first season with the Mavericks. In the love department, Barnes is married to San Francisco gal, Brittany Johnson.
8. Tim Hardaway Jr. (Kylie Bossie)
It cannot be easy having the life of Tim Hardaway Jr. Sure, this is a guy who can enjoy all the perks of being an NBA player. At the same time, he is one of those few guys who have to live up to the legend their fathers created. Tim Hardaway Sr. was one of the best guards in the NBA at his time. Meanwhile, his son is struggling to earn a starting spot in Atlanta. Don’t get us wrong, Junior is good, and he averaged more than 14 points per game last season. We’re just saying that it cannot be easy having people compare you to a legend as constantly as they compare him to his father.
7. Dennis Smith Jr. (Dominique Wilson)
The first rookie from the 2017 NBA draft class to make our list, Dennis Smith Jr. might just be one of the best prospects to come out of this draft. It was shocking that this kid was still on the board when the Mavericks got to pick him ninth overall. Let us just say that Mark Cuban is not complaining. He clearly got the point guard he wanted. Athletic and skilled, Dennis Smith Jr. is one of those guys who have so much upside that it is impossible not to be hyped about him.
Last season with North Carolina State, he averaged 18.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game. His college girlfriend was also a basketball player in NC State’s Dominique Wilson. Now we just have to wonder if their relationship survived the NBA draft.
6. Jonas Valanciunas (Eglė Valančiūnienė)
The other married guy on our list, Jonas Valanciunas, is happily married and already has two children by the young age of 25. Still, there is not much to hate on here, since this Lithuanian superstar found the love of his life quickly in the beautiful Eglė Valančiūnienė.
You should think twice before talking about the wife of a guy who is 7 feet tall and weighs more than 260 pounds, but we are sure Jonas would not mind since all we are doing is complementing his wife and saying how lucky he is that he found her.
Either way, this guy is also one of the most reliable centers in the NBA. Toronto Raptors fans love him because he is consistent every night out and can almost always provide their team with good scoring and rebounding as he nearly averaged a double-double last season.
5. Lonzo Ball (Denise Garcia)
Does this guy really need an introduction? If you are an NBA fan, you absolutely know who Lonzo Ball. Lonzo might just be the most hyped up rookie since Kevin Durant or Lebron James. Seriously, think a decade back and even further. Aside from Durant, when was the last time people even talked this much about a number two pick?
A lot of it has to do with his outspoken father, but it is hard to deny that Lonzo is one of the most exciting prospects we have had in the NBA for a while. The basketball IQ this kid has is just ridiculous. Whether he will live up to the hype, only time will tell, but he has the potential. We are not sure if their relationship survived the draft, but as far as we know, Lonzo was still dating Denise Garcia.
4. Lauri Markkanen (Verna Aho)
If history has taught us anything, it is that international seven footers who come into the NBA at a very young age are hit or miss. Lauri Markkanen, however, has had the opportunity to play in the states before getting drafted, as he was a standout at the University of Arizona. Not only that, this kid was pretty good in college. He averaged 15.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game in Arizona. He also shot better than 42 percent from beyond the arc. Those are the kinds of numbers that make us wonder and think that Markkanen could adapt well to the NBA game of today. We are sure Chicago Bulls’ fans are hoping that is the case.
3. Justin Jackson (Brooke Copeland)
The 15th overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft is one of the big-time dark horse candidates for 2017-18 rookie of the year. Say what you will about Justin Jackson, but not many people in this draft class could say they had the experience of being NCAA champions going into their NBA careers. A Junior out of North Carolina, Jackson was monumental in the Tar Heels’ campaign towards the NCAA title.
Luckily for him, as he joins the Sacramento Kings he will be asked to do exactly what he did in North Carolina; score the basketball. It is still too early to say how he will adapt to the NBA game, but Jackson could surprise a lot of people. Another thing that is impressive about this kid is how gorgeous his girlfriend is. Jackson is apparently engaged to Florida’s, Brooke Copeland.
2. Andrew Wiggins (Alex Reid)
We have talked about a lot of talented young men on this list. However, it is tough to find players under 25 years old who are as gifted as Andrew Wiggins. This 22-year-old out of Toronto is arguably one of the most talented players in the NBA right now. He has to share the spotlight in Minnesota with Karl-Anthony Towns, but that does little to diminish Wiggins’ scoring prowess. Just last season he scored 23.6 points per game while shooting better than 45 percent from the field. To put up those kinds of numbers when you are just 21 years old is just ridiculous.
Not only are we confident that Wiggins could very well become an All-Star this season, but we are also sure that he has an All-Star caliber girlfriend. Seriously, Alex Reid is by far one of the most beautiful NBA wags.
1. Bradley Beal (Kamiah Adams)
When it comes to scoring the basketball, not many people can do it as well as Bradley Beal. After five seasons in the league, this 24-year-old out of the University of Florida has steadily improved and put himself in the conversation to become an All-Star. Just last season, he averaged 23.1 points per game and shot better than 40 percent from beyond the arc. Beal was also a major reason for why the Washington Wizards managed to take the number one seeded Boston Celtics to seven games in last year’s Eastern Conference semifinals.
Despite all that improvement, it still seems like Beal has some room to grow, and we cannot wait to see what kind of magic he and John Wall will be able to perform in Washington this year. As for his girlfriend, we think a picture is worth more than us trying to describe the beauty of Kamiah Adams.
