WWE Superstar Bayley has been out of action since July and it was rumored she would be out six to nine months with an ACL tear. That would have put her back in the ring around January at the earliest. That said, she's teased that she might be ahead of schedule and a return could be coming sooner than later.

During a recent live stream on Instagram, Bayley provided an update on how the recovery is going. She said, “People are asking how my knee is. So my knee is doing great, my leg’s doing great, my ankle’s doing great, my calf is doing great, my shin is doing great, my hip is doing great." She added, "My mind is doing great, so I mean it’s only a matter of time and I’m not gonna tell you when and I don’t want all these idiots watching to know when. But, I’m gonna be coming back soon, maybe, you know and y’all better be ready. Better be ready."

The next event that really makes sense for Bayley would be the Royal Rumble, if she's able. The Rumble is a pay-per-view full of surprises and because Bayley is a free agent and can sign with Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown, having her on that show doesn't commit her to either brand.

WWE Needs Bayley Back

She's perhaps one of the most underrated stars in WWE and the company could certainly use Bayley on either brand to help their women's division. She's one of the company's better heel characters and she's got some unfinished business with Bianca Belair after she was unable to wrestle her scheduled I Quit Match match for the SmackDown Women’s Title at the Money In The Bank.

Belair is currently feuding with Doudrop, who has turned heel with WWE's lack of credible heel characters.
