Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair have had a lot to say about one another as they prepare for their showdown at Survivor Series 2021 this Sunday.

The longtime rivals will square off in one of the four champion vs. champion matches for Survivor Series at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. This will also mark their first one-on-one showdown since the Oct. 14, 2019 episode of Raw, which was won by Lynch former won by pinfall.

Lynch and Flair had a backstage confrontation following the Oct. 22 episode of SmackDown, moments after theit title exchanging segment. The Raw Women's Champion confirmed earlier this week that the backstage altercation took place, and Lynch recently stated that her and Flair no longer talk to each other.

Can the Flair-Lynch relationship fix itself while they're both still working in the WWE? The latter doesn't seem to think so.

"Honestly, I don't know," Lynch said in an interview with Graham Matthews of Bleacher Report. "I think there would be a lot that would need to be talked about and a lot that would need to be discussed. Honestly, I don't think we can be in this business anymore. I feel like once we're in this industry, she's going to be jealous of me, and I'm not going to like the way she does business. I don't know that it can be repaired while we're both still wrestling."

Flair has offered similar comments, noting that "Competition breeds competition", and that "there's only room for one" to be at the very top.

It was reported that Flair went off-script when she dropped the Raw Women's title to the ground during the championship exchange segment. Apparently, The Queen feared that the segment would make her look weak. Sasha Banks interrupted and confronted Flair, which led to a brief fight that was broken up by Sonya Deville.

Lynch later claimed that "the locker room needs a hero sometimes," and she was fine "being that hero." Lynch was reportedly viewed as heroic backstage for standing up to Charlotte during the confrontation.

Lynch Is The Betting Favorite Over Flair

The Raw Women's Champion is listed as a -400 favorite to defeat The Queen, who comes in as a +250 underdog. On Thursday, WrestleVotes reported that the finish for the Flair-Lynch showdown "has been greatly debated". Regardless of the result, this promises to be another exciting chapter in the historic Lynch-Flair rivalry.
