Becky Lynch has let Big E know she's very happy about him becoming WWE Champion, potentially reigniting an amusing Twitter exchange between the two from 2019.

No, it wasn't a dream. Raw really did end with Big E cashing in his Money in the Bank contract and winning the WWE Title. The crowd popped huge for it, and if you're anything like the rest of us then so did you as you watched on at home. Wrestling Twitter naturally caught fire after it happened too, and the new champ got one congratulatory message in particular that likely stood out over the rest.

A Long Distance Love Renewed

Becky Lynch congratulated Big E shortly after his win, labeling the New Day member the best. The Man then tweeted again after that, letting Lynch know that her mom had offered up congratulations too. That wasn't just a random gesture by Lynch. It's a reference to the amusing interaction Big E and her mom had through her in 2019.

It started with Big E jokingly speaking of his fondness for Lynch's mom. First, he tweeted that he'd like to see her in a sundress, and followed that up by offering to give her spin classes just so he could see her “post-workout glisten”. Lynch responded by saying she's married, but that E should hit up her mom's burner phone instead.

There's Another European Tour Coming Up...

Since WWE was midway through a European tour at the time, E said he could be in Dublin the very next day. The tweets that followed got more and more uncomfortable, resulting in E and Lynch's mom making headlines at the time even though The Man's mother never actually sent a tweet herself. It's unclear whether the two actually got the chance to meet. There's a European tour coming up, maybe they'll catch up then.

E is going to have a very busy tour though in all fairness. As the WWE Champion, E will not only be expected to perform on all of Raw's events, but he will want to be on every single one. His title win shakes up WWE's plans quite a bit. Bobby Lashley was supposed to defend the title against Randy Orton at Extreme Rules. That match has now been canceled since The All-Mighty no longer has the title.
