Ronda Rousey returned to WWE TV last week for the first time since SummerSlam. The Rowdy One was slapped with a fine and a suspension for attacking the referee after her controversial loss to Liv Morgan, all in the name of their ongoing storyline, of course. The suspension was presumably only in place until she paid the fine. That's at least what Rousey implied when she showed up on SmackDown last week.

A Bag Of Money To Pay A Fine

Rousey crashed Morgan and Shayna Baszler's contract signing and emptied a big bag of money onto the table. The former Women's Champion claimed it to be double the amount of her fine and suggested WWE spend it on bringing back more released wrestlers. However, as highlighted by a fan on Twitter, Becky Lynch has done that before.

At the peak of her run as The Man, and in the middle of her lengthy run as Raw Women's Champion, Lynch was also issued with a kayfabe fine by WWE. As Rousey did last week, Lynch brought a big bag of money to the ring and emptied it onto the mat. Lynch has seen the comparison video online and has clearly been pretty tickled by it.

"Ronnie Loves The Man"

“Ronnie Loves The Man,” Lynch tweeted in response, replacing the word loves with a heart emoji. Unfortunately for Lynch, Twitter is as close as she's going to get to Rousey for a while. Big Time Becks picked up an injury in her own SummerSlam match, one that will keep her on the shelf for an undetermined amount of time. While she popped up at the WrestleMania 39 launch party, she might not wrestle again until 2023.

As for Rousey, her return last week might have taken some by surprise. Morgan's Clash at the Castle match is already set, which likely means The Rowdy One will have to wait until after Baszler gets a shot to challenge for the title again. An alliance between Rousey and Baszler seems likely, and could well spell the end of Morgan's title reign in Cardiff or right after.
