Making quite the shocking debut on Monday Night Raw in mid-October 2022, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows would make their return to WWE after a few years away following their release during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Having spent most of that time away within the Impact Wrestling tag-team division, Anderson would also score a singles Championship in NJPW, a title he still holds despite being part of the active WWE roster.

While the future remains unclear with regard to Gallows & Anderson's future in Japan, they seem to be locked in with WWE moving forward. For those still unfamiliar with the team formerly known as The Good Brothers or for those looking for a refresher, let's take a look at the best matches from Gallows & Anderson's career as a tag-team!

10 Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. Kazuchika Okada & YOSHI-HASHI - NJPW Destruction In Kobe 2014

Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. Kazuchika Okada & YOSHI-HASHI

While many wrestling fans have turned on Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows as a team, likely due to their first run in WWE leaving quite a bit to be desired, and the first year of their time in Impact Wrestling being less than great. However, there was a time when the two were looked at as one of the best teams in the world, with a lot of that stemming from the work they did in NJPW.

The two would defend the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles against the CHAOS team of Kazuchika Okada & YOSHI-HASHI, a rare tag-team title match for The Rainmaker. Gallows & Anderson would retain their titles, in an above average match that would see the two earn the accolade of defeating Okada.

Featured in a big six-man tag match for the semi-main event of the G1 Climax 2015 finals show, Gallows and Anderson would take part in a trios match. With Styles leading Gallows and Anderson as the Bullet Club team, Kazuchika Okada would lead The Kingdom, alongside Maria Kanellis, as the group would take on their rivals.

A fun semi-main event, this match would highlight two rivalries, with Okada vs Styles and The Kingdom vs Gallows & Anderson. Maria would famously get involved as well, dancing on the ring apron in order to distract the entire Bullet Club team, something that would happen again, years later in Impact Wrestling.

8 Dark Order vs The Super Elite - AEW Dynamite 1/21/21

After Kenny Omega would debut in Impact, he would align with Don Callis and The Good Brothers as a new unit. Slowly working the Young Bucks into the group, at the end of January, The Good Brothers and The Young Bucks would team up in the main event of Dynamite to take on Dark Order in a 8-man tag-team match.

While this would take place before the Young Bucks would fully turn heel, it would give AEW fans a first look at the unit that would become The Super Elite, with Gallows & Anderson and The Bucks being two of the top tag-teams in the entire world. This outing would see them defeat the Dark Order with all 8 men delivering strongly.

7 Raw Tag Team 4-Way Ladder Match - WWE WrestleMania 33

The first WWE Match in Gallows & Anderson's top career matches would come at WWE WrestleMania 33. After arriving in the company a year prior during the Spring of 2016, the duo would finally capture tag-team gold at the 2017 Royal Rumble. At WrestleMania that year, they would defend the belts in a 4-way Ladder Match against Enzo Amore & Big Cass, The Bar, and the returning Hardy Boyz.

While the match would deliver in spades and serve as a great re-debut for Jeff and Matt Hardy, this would be another moment of Gallows & Anderson's WWE Careers that would feel as if they didn't matter all that much. The duo would capture the belts one more time in 2019 before being released the following year.

6 Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson & Kenny Omega vs. Laredo Kid, Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix - AEW Dynamite 3/25/21

During their time in AEW, Anderson and Gallows would often team alongside Kenny Omega as a unique trios team-up. On March 25, 2021, the team would face off against a big-time lucha squad, with Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix teaming with AAA standout, Laredo Kid.

With this being a bit of random trios match, it would score lower than another marquee Trios Match for The Good Brothers & Omega in AEW, though it was still an excellent bout that would give a major spotlight to Laredo Kid, one of the most underrated luchadors in the world today. The Super Elite would pick up the win, as expected, with another strong showing for Gallows & Anderson.

5 Smackdown Tag Team Gauntlet Match - Smackdown Live 3/26/19

With the company firmly on the Road To WrestleMania, the match would see New Day starting the match and running the gauntlet to face Daniel Bryan and Rowan in the final bout of the Gauntlet, building towards the Kofi Kingston vs Daniel Bryan match at WrestleMania 35.

The entire match would be spectacularly laid out, and Gallows and Anderson's roles were important as they were the first opponents for Xavier and Big E in the match. The former Bullet Club stars would be taken out in under a minute as a way to showcase New Day's seriousness, which was great, though this would serve as one of the worst losses of their career.

Arguably one of, if not the strongest match of The Good Brothers' time in Impact Wrestling, this would once again see them working alongside Kenny Omega, with the trio of men working extremely well with one another. Winning the match, Omega would eventually go onto dethrone Swann for the World Championship.

During the Summer of 2021, AEW would be on fire, with a marquee storyline seeing the rise of Hangman Page as he would fight for the right to challenge his former tag-team partner, Kenny Omega, for the AEW World Championship. Culminating in a ten-man elimination match at AEW Fight For The Fallen, Dark Order & Hangman would take on the Super Elite in a bonkers tag-team match.

One of the best tag-team matches and television matches of the year, all ten men would deliver one of the most memorable matches in AEW Dynamite history, while also telling an extremely compelling story in the process. The Super Elite would defeat the babyface team, with all involved looking great.

2 Bullet Club vs Team Ring Of Honor - ROH & NJPW Global Wars 2015

Another older match for Gallows & Anderson would see them teaming with AJ Styles and the Young Bucks at a joint ROH & NJPW show in 2015, where the unit would take on Team ROH, made up of War Machine, The Briscoes, and Roderick Strong.

With a lineup of high caliber talent, there was no way this match would underdeliver, and it surely did not. Main-eventing the PPV, Bullet Club would shockingly be defeated in a nearly 17-minute long affair. The match would serve as a strong future showcase for major wrestling players in the form of Styles, Strong, the Young Bucks, and The Briscoes.

1 Kenny Omega, Karl Anderson, & Doc Gallows vs Jon Moxley, PAC, & Rey Fenix - AEW Beach Break 2021

For any WWE fans that may have been wary about the return of Gallows and Anderson, checking out this Trios Match from AEW's 2021 edition of Beach Break should ease those feelings. Despite many having said that the team hasn't been as good in recent years, this match would say otherwise.

This was a match where Gallows and Anderson were not carried either, as they put in great ring work against the babyface team, and meshed quite well with Omega. With it likely that fans are in store for trios action on Raw between Styles & the Good Brothers vs Judgment Day, fans may have a reason to get excited!
