New Day vs Daniel Bryan & Erick Rowan vs Heavy Machinery (Extreme Rules, 2019)

This entry was tied with The Usos vs. The New Day's match at Battleground 2017. However, this match was rated higher by Wrestling Observer Newsletter, with an impressive four stars given to it. The New Day consisted of only Big E and Xavier Woods in this match, as Kingston successfully retained his WWE Championship against Samoa Joe later that night.

The match ended after Big E muscled up the power to withstand Daniel Bryan's Yes Kicks, and Big E and Woods hit Midnight Hour on Bryan to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championships, taking the titles off of Bryan and Rowan in the process.

9 The New Day vs. The Revival - WWE TLC: Tables Ladders and Chairs 2019 - 7.76

The Revival vs The New Day (TLC, 2019)

The Revival, now known as FTR, are on the run of their lives right now. Before the AEW team were AAA or ROH Tag Team Champions, they had a great match with The New Day at WWE TLC in 2019. This is one of the few matches that Xavier Woods was not a part of at all, not even ringside, as the two teams faced off in a ladder match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

The match is nearly 20 minutes long, and with that amount of time with these legendary teams, it was always going to be great, but by the time the final bell rang, it was The New Day that retained their titles.

8 The New Day vs. The Usos - Day 1- 7.77

The Usos v The New Day at Day 1

The most recent addition to the list is a match that will be featured quite often. The Usos vs. The New Day is one of the best long-term rivalries in wrestling for the last decade. With Big E on RAW, it was Kingston and Woods that would face the champions. This match had plenty of near falls and got the ovation it deserved from the crowd, but the New Day would be defeated, and it was not any of the members' night, as Big E would lose his WWE Championship to Brock Lesnar in the main event of the pay-per-view.

At the end of 2020, The Hurt Business was doing very well for itself. Bobby Lashley was the United States Champion, and Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander were a great tag team. In a match that had four of WWE's best in-ring wrestlers, the four had an incredible title match for the RAW Tag Team Championships and for a spot to go Survivor Series. Woods and Kingston retained their titles after hitting a vicious Daybreaker on Alexander. A truly great television match.

New-Day-RKBRO WWE RAW

Only a few months into their partnership, Randy Orton and Riddle took on WWE's most celebrated team in The New Day. Although both teams were faces, and they had teamed up with each other, New Day still did not like the team due to Kingston and Orton's past history.

The king of tension and animosity towards each other made the match all the better. Woods would find himself on the receiving end of an RKO, and Orton and Riddle picked up the victory. A relatively new team defeating The New Day, no if Orton was a member or not, was a massive deal and showed that WWE was in all on pushing RK-Bro.

The Bar was one of the best tag teams in the WWE in recent memories. The team helped prove how much of an underrated star Cesaro was and what his potential was, while it also showcased what a great wrestler Sheamus is. At the time, SmackDown Live was producing phenomenal matches on television every week, and this match was a perfect example.

The teams met in the Tag Team Tournament Finals to earn a title match against The Bludgeon Brothers at SummerSlam. Big E and Kingston picked up the victory after Big E reversed Cesaro's crossface, and the duo turned it into Midnight Hour for the win.

Luckily, the match was nearly 20 minutes long, getting time to put on a classic. It was the rare occasion that it was Woods and Big E as the team, with Kingston on the outside. However, it would not be The New Day's night as The Usos got the victory to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championships from them.

2 The New Day vs. The Usos vs. The Lucha Dragons - TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs 2015 - 8.61

The Usos, New Day and Lucha Dragons fight in a ladder match

WWE has been attempting to chase the nostalgia of the triple threat tag team TLC matches of the Hardys, Dudleys, and Edge and Chrisitan put on in the attitude era. Although this match is not exactly that, it does do that match type justice while also putting their own spin on it.

All three teams had their spots, with the most memorable one being Kalisto's Salida Del Sol from the middle ladder on Jimmy Uso, going through another ladder. Despite the spot, The Lucha Dragons did not win, as it was The New Day retained the WWE Tag Team Championships.
