The Ultimate Warrior is one of the most iconic wrestlers of all time. A mixture of politics and problems outside the ring hindered the advancement of Warrior's career which could have ended on par with Hulk Hogan or Andre The Giant. Either way, The Ultimate Warrior has left a tremendous legacy full of great moments.

An aspect of Warrior's career that isn't mentioned enough is how rarely he lost. It didn't matter if he had great or poor chemistry with a partner, even in the tag team division Warrior hardly lost. This list will examine the five best and five worst tag team partners of Ultimate Warrior's dominant wrestling career.

10 Best: Sting

Many fans don't realize that The Ultimate Warrior started his career in a tag team with Sting. The two were called The Blade Runners, and they made huge waves at Universal Wrestling Federation. Although they split up in 1986, The Blade Runners set themselves up for two Hall of Fame careers.

The two did have a reunion on an episode of Nitro, but it ended up being a nothing match. Warrior didn't even take off his jacket for the match. Despite this one blip, overall, Sting is one of the most important partners of Warrior's career.

9 Worst: Randy Savage

Randy Savage and The Ultimate Warrior at SummerSlam 1992

The pairing of Randy Savage and The Ultimate Warrior should have been something monumental for both wrestling icons. The team-up between the two was well set up with Ric Flair and Mr.Perfect costing both men their WWE Titles. Somehow, the match between the four superstars never happened.

The pair even had a name, The Ultimate Maniacs, but they only competed in two matches. Warrior rarely lost matches, but he and Savage did lose via count out as a tag team.

8 Best: The British Bulldogs

The British Bulldogs Warrior

The Dynamite Kid is not a name every wrestling fan knows, but he is one of the great wrestling innovators of all time. He and Davey Boy Smith were two of the best technical wrestlers in the WWE, and it showed in their matches as The British Bulldogs.

The two only teamed up with Warrior one time, but it was a great match. They complemented Warrior's limited skillset well. The three dominated Demolition (Ax & Smash) & Mr. Fuji.

7 Worst: Brutus Beefcake

Brutus Beefcake and Warrior only crossed paths once. The two were teammates during a Survivor Series Elimination match at Survivor Series 1988. Beefcake wasn't a bad wrestler, but he provided very little in this match.

Other members of the unit, Jim Brunzell, Sam Houston, and The Blue Blazer, outshone Beefcake in their victory.

6 Best: Hulk Hogan

One of Warrior's most iconic rivals is Hulk Hogan. Warrior's win at Wrestlemania 6 helped The Ultimate Warrior become the biggest wrestling star on the planet. The two actually competed as a tag team unit more times than they battled each other.

Warrior and Hogan never held the Tag Team Titles, but they did go undefeated in the WWE. The two even won a Two on Three handicap match against The Triangle Of Terror (Col. Mustafa, Gen. Adnan & Sgt. Slaughter) at SummerSlam 1991.

5 Worst: Don Muraco

Don Muraco Warrior

Before Dwayne Johnson, Don Muraco was "The Rock." The wrestling icon was a one of kind star in the ring who innovated wrestling. Muraco was one of the first tag team partners of Warrior's career and the two only teamed up a few times.

Unfortunately, Muraco was a part of one of Warrior's rare losses. The two lost via DQ to Ron Bass & The One Man Gang in 1988.

4 Best: The Undertaker

The Undertaker Warrior

The Ultimate Warrior and The Undertaker competed many times in the WWE. Although The Undertaker wasn't nearly as well known as the Warrior, the two competed in a televised match in 1991 that is pretty good.

The two teamed up a few times in 1992 and were a great unit. The list of legends they defeated includes Razor Ramon, Kamala, and Papa Shango.

3 Worst: Jake Roberts

Jake Roberts with Ultimate Warrior

The problems between Jake "The Snake" are very well known. According to Roberts, he was supposed to win the WWE Championship from Warrior, but it never happened thanks to Warrior's fallout with the WWE. Jake and Warrior teamed up quite a few times but never had a great match.

It could have been the deep-seated animosity between the two, but either way, the two lacked chemistry. Their tag matches were quick bouts that had few memorable spots.

2 Best: The Legion Of Doom

The Legion Of Doom Warrior

The trio of Ultimate Warrior and The Legion Of Doom (Animal & Hawk) was an absolute force. The pair had two televised tag team matches, where they dominated Demolition (Ax, Crush & Smash).

The trio went on an absolute tear in 1990 and never lost a single match as a team. With such big personalities, people would assume these three would have had major issues that hurt their performances, but their matches always delivered.

1 Worst: Jim Duggan

Jim Duggan

Jim Duggan was one of the strangest tag team partners of Warrior's career. Neither was ever considered a "great wrestler" and it showed when they were forced to compete as a unit. The two never had a televised match, which probably works in their favor.

Duggan and Warrior teamed up once in 1988 and again three years later. Time didn't change anything for the duo who lacked chemistry in all of their tag matches.
