Omos defeated The Viking Raiders on Monday in a 2-on-1 handicap match, but the victory wasn't the big takeaway from that segment during Raw. When Omos was interviewed after the match about how dominant he's been and how no one has taken him off his feet, he was asked who his WrestleMania opponent might be. It was quickly learned that Bobby Lashley was prepared to challenge the big man.

Lashley came out to a rousing ovation from the crowd. He was returning from a legitimate shoulder injury -- one that was written into storylines as a concussion -- and was without MVP. It appeared he was playing the role of a babyface and the crowd was into it, especially knowing Omos hasn't had a real threat to his run as a heel who was simply walking through the rest of the Raw roster. Lashley entered the ring and while the match wasn't officially declared before Omos took exception to the interruption, it was presumed The All Mighty would be his opponent.

The two men started fighting as Omos pushed Lashley away. Lashley attempted a shoulder tackle and the big man barely moved. Omos pushed again and Lashley went flying into the corner. He came out for another tackle, and again, the same result. This time Omos applied a modified choke, threw Lashley into the ropes again, and Lashley ducked and delivered a flying shoulder tackle, taking Omos off his feet. Omos rolled outside the ring and was livid after being embarrassed. Lashley and Omos both pointed to the WrestleMania sign, and it appeared the match was on.

Omos' Most Legitimate Threat To Date

This has been the first real opponent Omos will face outside of AJ Styles when the former tag team partners first split. The giant has been breezing through every match up to this point and no one has been considered a real threat. Lashley is a legitimate opponent who could actually win, and on the heels of return, it's interesting booking because a loss to Lashley could hurt a push coming out of a lengthy absence.

We'll find out in about six days which way WWE chooses to go with this. We'll also have to see where this leaves MVP, who was nowhere to be found.
