Rumors seemed to suggest that Bobby Lashley will be facing Omos at WrestleMania 38 in a clash of the titans, although at this stage it's unclear what Lashley's health status is and whether or not he's actually able, or allowed, to compete.

WrestleVotes was the first person to hint that a big surprise opponent was being lined up for Omos at The Grandest Stage Of Them All suggesting that it wasn't Veer, or Cody Rhodes. Fightful Select then further revealed that it was Lashley.

Omos has been being built up recently, winning singles matches impressively.

How Long Has Bobby Lashley Been Injured For?

The former WWE Champion has been off of WWE television since The Elimination Chamber pay-per-view after picking up an injury.

At the pay-per-view WWE ran an injury angle with Bobby Lashley when Seth Rollins powerbombed Austin Theory into Lashley's pod causing Theory to break through and take out Lashley in the process. He was then removed from the match for, what commentators said was, 'concussion protocols'.

In reality, he had suffered a shoulder injury dating back to the Royal Rumble clash with Brock Lesnar, and it was reported that he would be out of action for several months, which would make Lashley competing at WrestleMania seem incredibly unlikely.

But, those details could've been incorrect, or Lashley could've made a miraculous recovery to get back on track and return in time for 'Mania.

Although, a handful of WWE fans don't want the match to happen because they feel it will do nothing for either of the competitors. Lashley will certainly gain nothing if he loses and many feel squashing Omos for Lashley is a bad move.
