It appears Braun Strowman's latest Twitter antics have earned him some heat backstage in WWE. While it's not clear how much trouble the big man might be in -- or if he's actually in trouble at all -- there is talk that WWE is aware of how his latest tweets have come across and they aren't pleased with the controversy he's brewed up after only being back in WWE a short time.

Strowman took to posting a tweet following his match at WWE Crown Jewel with Omos. In that tweet, he bragged about his match and said that it doesn't take a lot of flipping and flopping to win fans over and have a classic. He even went so far as to hint the match was in line with Andre the Giant and Hulk Hogan from WrestleMania III. Then he posted that "flippy flipper bag your grocery’s at @kroger #AirportTest #SizeIsThePrize #SwoleIsTheGoal."

Braun Strowman in WWE

Needless to say, the tweets didn't go over well and Strowman has since told people to take a joke and added other posts essentially doubling down and poking fun at those who took him to task. WWE doesn't like the attention, reports Fightful Select. He's got a history of doing this sort of thing and while he's been on his best behavior backstage, "social media Braun" is drawing the wrong kind of heat with higher-ups. Fightful states that at least one person in the company is not liking how Strowman took an immature approach and didn't diffuse the situation. Instead, he made it worse.

Will WWE Turn This Into An Angle?

There is talk that perhaps WWE will use real-life drama and reference it on television. They could even create a bit of a storyline out of it. He could get ribbed or publicly admonished as part of that storyline. That would be an interesting approach if true. It suggests WWE is going to deal with this situation on television and live in front of the fans. It's not clear if that's because they want to send a message or try to make it look like this was done as an angle from the very beginning.
