Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman made his Ring Of Honor debut at the company's Final Battle pay-per-view.

It all went down on December 11, 2021 at the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. VLNCE UNLTD (Brody King, Homicide, Tony Deppen) & Rocky Romero had just defeated the team of EC3 & The Foundation (Tracy Williams, Taylor Rust, & Eli Isom) in an eight-man tag that was originally scheduled to be a six-man tag between VLNCE UNLTD and The Foundation. EC3 and Rocky Romero were added to the match earlier in the night. After the bell, all hell broke loose... and a Titan was unleashed.

Following his team's defeat, EC3 got the mic and cut another strange "control your narrative" promo in which he issued a call to arms and encouraged his peers to use their power to fight against "corporate wrestling." Brian Johnson and Dak Draper emerged to confront EC3, but then EC3's former WWE colleague Westin Blake appeared on the ramp alongside The Fodder. EC3 instructed Blake and Fodder to "free the Titan" and that's when the artist formerly known as Braun Strowman appeared.

"The Titan" Adam Scherr, sporting a new look, marched down to the ring and cleared house with the help of Blake and Fodder as EC3 looked on. EC3, Blake, Fodder, and Titan were all wearing "Control Your Narrative" t-shirts.

Strowman debuted on WWE's main roster in 2015 as a member of Bray Wyatt's Wyatt Family stable. The following year he parted ways with the Wyatt Family and pursued a singles career which eventually led to him winning the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36.

Back in June, "The Monster Among Men" was released by WWE along with several of his now-former colleagues as a result of budget cuts allegedly necessitated by the Covid-19 pandemic.
