Bray Wyatt is back in WWE, with the former WWE and Universal Champion being revealed as the one behind the White Rabbit storyline. He's a name that fans will be very familiar with and is one of the most creative people in the business overall.

Wyatt tells great stories with anybody that he works with because of the detailed character that he has. However, there are certain wrestlers and gimmicks that he would undoubtedly work better with than some, and that is why WWE has to be careful with who they have him feud with when he becomes an active competitor again

10 Want To See: Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes Neck Tattoo

Cody Rhodes feuding with Bray Wyatt is a major rivalry that the company has on its hands, and it is one that should be tapped into at some stage. It's a fresh feud for WWE, with both men being at completely different stages in their career right now from when they were last on the roster together.

Both of them love to push storylines in everything that they do, with lots of smaller details being placed into their angles. Because of that, they seem like the perfect duo to compete against each other, especially since Rhodes is excellent at selling, which could put Wyatt over as an elite monster.

9 Don't Want To See: Randy Orton

Randy Orton v John Cena TLC 2013 WWE World Heavyweight Champion Cropped

An obvious storyline that nobody wants to see is Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton, as that was the final rivalry that he had before leaving the company. Their rivalry ended up dragging on for far too long at that point, and it left fans not caring about either of them by the end.

That's not the type of situation that is good for anybody involved, and because of that it would be wise for WWE to not return to that rivalry straight away. It's something that didn't work, therefore there is no reason to bring this one back.

8 Want To See: Edge

Edge

Edge never got the chance to face Bray Wyatt, therefore on paper, this is a dream encounter for a lot of fans. Edge is a huge name that would instantly get a lot of focus onto the former WWE Champion, which is an ideal situation.

On top of that, there are few better sellers in the company than him, and that could help to make Wyatt look good. He's a detailed storyteller in a similar fashion to Wyatt, therefore on paper this seems like a recipe for success.

7 Don't Want To See: Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins Ariel Helwani interview

Seth Rollins is another wrestler that Bray Wyatt has feuded with in the past during his run as The Fiend, and much like his work with Randy Orton this was a disaster of a storyline. The angle put Wyatt over, but it ruined Rollins' character at that time, and fans still have a bitter taste in their mouths about it.

It's an angle that WWE would be smart to avoid right now, as this is one that fans do not want to see again in a hurry, even though Rollins admitted recently that he'd be interested in having another crack at it.

6 Want To See: Johnny Gargano

Johnny Gargano WWE

Johnny Gargano is someone that Bray Wyatt has never competed against, therefore the idea of having them feud against each other is one that would likely excite a lot of fans. Inside the ring, Wyatt always worked best with wrestlers that were similar in style to Gargano, as his matched with Daniel Bryan showcased.

Gargano has that same underdog feel to him where he fights from underneath, and feuding against a monster would help to establish a clear heel and babyface role that would push both of them.

5 Don't Want To See: Karrion Kross

Karrion Kross is one of WWE's newest stars, and he is someone that the company has invested plenty of time and effort in so far to make him look good. However, putting him into a feud with Bray Wyatt wouldn't be a good call, simply because the characters are far too similar.

Having two mysterious wrestlers just playing mind games with eerie segments is something that doesn't work. It works better if only one of those wrestlers acts in that manner, which is why Kross is someone to avoid right now.

4 Want To See: Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam 2022

There was a time during his first run that WWE teased the idea of Bray Wyatt getting to feud with Brock Lesnar but the company never pulled the trigger on it. However, that is something that fans would still be interested in seeing due to the star power involved with both men.

Lesnar is still around with WWE, and it is time for him to leave the World Championship picture for a while which a feud with Wyatt would provide. Seeing Wyatt's usual mindgames against the Beast would be a fresh angle for him, and it's one that could be very interesting for them.

3 Don't Want To See: Braun Strowman

braun strowman

Braun Strowman is someone that Bray Wyatt has got a lot of history with dating back to their time in The Wyatt Family. They have been partners and friends, while they have also worked as rivals, and at times it has worked, but that hasn't always been the case, and right now it feels like a time to keep them apart.

Both of them have similar characters in the sense that they want to be monsters, and previously their in-ring matches haven't been that exciting. With Strowman having also just returned, right now WWE wants to focus on pushing both of them, therefore it's a feud to avoid.

2 Want To See: Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre

The expectation is going to be for Bray Wyatt to work against a top-tier name, and Drew McIntyre is a person that could tick that box perfectly. He is someone that fans view as a main event star, and considering the fact that he has already failed to dethrone Roman Reigns, WWE could be looking for a big rival to put him against.

Wyatt competing against McIntyre is a main event storyline that fans would treat accordingly, and if done right it could help to push both men. Hard-hitting wrestling would suit each of them, and it is also something completely fresh and new for the wrestlers involved, which is a good thing.

1 Don't Want To See: Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns Two Belts

Roman Reigns is the top star in WWE right now, therefore if the company is putting a lot of effort into Bray Wyatt then a feud with him could make sense on paper. However, Wyatt's character is one that has struggled massively in the title scene previously, as his gimmick has never been one that works best chasing rather than holding a title, much like The Undertaker's.

On top of that, Roman Reigns' character is one that is likely going to keep hold of the two World Titles all the way through until WrestleMania 39. This isn't a rivalry that would make Wyatt look good and therefore should be avoided.
