This was an AEW Women’s World Championship match which would feature the four women who were the first four champions of that specific title, which is a fun trivia point. Everyone impressed during moments in this match, with a mixture of technical wrestling, hardcore spots, and a fast pace.

Riho would find a way to retain her title and continue her reign at the top the division as a plucky underdog babyface. There was some criticism directed at Baker, though she has constantly improved ever since.

Moments such as Baker hitting a ‘Pittsburgh’ Sunrise, and Orange Cassidy getting heated for once to try and pump up Statlander were wonderful and added perfectly to the intensity of this title match, ensuring that it is up there with the best women’s PPV matches in AEW.

Given the strange atmosphere of a pandemic show without a crowd, it is remarkable how good of a match Hikaru Shida and Britt Baker managed to have.
