WWE fans will see Brock Lesnar at least two more times between now and his SummerSlam 2022 showdown with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

The July 22 episode of WWE SmackDown will take place at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. On Tuesday morning, the venue's official Twitter account announced that Lesnar will be present at the show. The go-home SummerSlam edition of SmackDown will run one week later at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. On Monday, the venue announced via Twitter that Lesnar will also appear at the event.

You can check out the announcements for both events below:

After a two and a half month hiatus, Lesnar made a surprise return at the end of the June 17 SmackDown show. After successfully defending his championship over Riddle in the show's main event, Reigns grabbed a microphone and told the Minneapolis, Minnesota crowd to acknowledge him.

Moments later, Lesnar showed up and attacked The Bloodline. WWE subsequently announced that the two would meet yet again at the July 30 SummerSlam pay-per-view in a Last Man Standing match for the title. SummerSlam will run at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.

Roman Reigns Brock Lesnar SummerSlam

SummerSlam will mark the third Reigns vs. Lesnar showdown dating back to October of last year. Thanks to help from The Usos, Reigns defeated Lesnar to retain his Universal Championship at Crown Jewel. Less than six months later, The Tribal Chief outlasted Lesnar in a "Winner Takes All" title unification match at WrestleMania 38.

Reigns is 3-2 all-time against Lesnar in one-on-one matches, having won the last three showdowns. Only time will tell if Lesnar can even the series in this storied rivalry.

The Second Reigns-Lesnar SummerSlam Showdown

The July 30 show will also mark the second meeting between these two stars at the SummerSlam stage. Lesnar and Reigns also met at SummerSlam 2018, with the latter emerging victorious to become the new Universal Champion. Reigns' victory that evening ended Lesnar's record Universal Championship run, so it'd be fitting if Lesnar repaid the favor this time around.
