Charlotte Flair is one of WWE’s top superstars, and for good reason. Not only is she the heir to an iconic wrestling family, but she also has a lot of in-ring talent and an aura about her that just commands attention. All these things considered, it’s no surprise that Charlotte Flair is the most decorated woman in the history of sports entertainment.

Like most other women in WWE, Charlotte Flair shows out with her makeup and ring attire each and every week. This past year, Charlotte has debuted several cosplay attires all inspired by iconic fictional villains. These attires not only help her look phenomenal, but they also highlight her heel persona.

5 Maleficent - Hell In A Cell

Being one of the most iconic Disney villains of all time, Maleficent is a perfect character for Charlotte to channel. Maleficent is the antagonist of Disney’s Sleeping Beauty. After not being invited to a party at the royals’ palace, she places a curse on baby Aurora so that the princess will prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die on her sixteenth birthday. At Hell in a Cell, Charlotte challenged Rhea Ripley for the Raw Women’s Championship. She defeated the champion by disqualification, meaning that Rhea retained her title. Though victorious, the evil Queen would have to wait to take back what was-- at least in Charlotte’s mind-- rightfully hers.

4 Agatha Harkness - Survivor Series

Charlotte’s match against Becky Lynch at this last Survivor Series was perhaps the most anticipated match of the PPV. Agatha Harkness is one of the villains of Wandavision, a series on Disney+ that aired from January to March 2021. The show focuses on Wanda Maximoff’s questionable means of coping with the loss of her brother, her friends, and her love interest, Vision.

What makes this gear even more iconic is that it matched her opponent’s. Becky came to Survivor Series in entirely red, Scarlet Witch-inspired gear. Wanda and Agatha are an ideal pair for Charlotte and Becky to emulate; Agatha presented herself as a best friend to Wanda, only to betray her trust and become Wanda’s greatest foe. In a way, their attire almost foreshadowed the match’s ending before it even began; just as Wanda was able to defeat Agatha, Becky bested Charlotte by the end of their bout.

3 Venom - Extreme Rules

This gear was very topical, as Extreme Rules took place the same weekend that Venom: Let There be Carnage premiered in theatres. Additionally, Venom is an enemy of Spider-Man, whose popularity is at an all-time high. The left half of Charlotte’s gear is bright, shimmery gold and pink. The right half mimics the symbiote Venom’s pitch-black color and slimy texture to give the effect that Venom is consuming Charlotte from right to left.

The collar of Charlotte’s robe features a picture of Venom’s eye and a row of his teeth, making the robe an immediately recognizable cosplay. Besides being a tribute to one of the best anti-heroes of comic book history, the attire also has a stark and beautiful color contrast that catches the eye. At Extreme Rules, Charlotte defeated Alexa Bliss and destroyed the treasured Lily doll. To some— particularly those who want to see Alexa’s Goddess persona return— this was a relief. However, the audience in attendance seemed heartbroken and showered the doll’s carcass with “Thank you, Lily” chants. Whether you mourned or celebrated Lily’s death, Charlotte’s intentions were certainly villainous.

2 Cruella Deville - WrestleMania Backlash

Ripley v Asuka v Charlotte

Cruella Deville, the villain of Disney’s 101 Dalmatians, likely needs no introduction. Her abuse of innocent dalmatian puppies has made her one of the most diabolical Disney villains. This gear, like Charlotte’s Venom-inspired attire, was also very topical. Both WrestleMania Backlash and the movie Cruella came out in May 2021. The robe features Cruella’s iconic black, white, and red color scheme.

The right half of the robe is white and the left half is black to mimic Cruella’s split-dyed hair. Her wrestling gear underneath the robe was white with black spots to look like a dalmatian’s fur with red accent marks along the hems. Don’t let Charlotte’s looks fool you, though; after missing her first WrestleMania since 2016, Charlotte was eager to show that her bark’s just as good as her bite. At WrestleMania Backlash, Charlotte challenged the newly-crowned champion, Rhea Ripley, for the Raw women’s title in a triple threat match with the former champion Asuka. Unfortunately for Charlotte, Rhea pinned Asuka to retain her championship. While Charlotte wasn’t the one to directly take the loss, she didn’t win the title, either.

1 Thanos - SummerSlam

This gear tops the list on account of how well the attire represented its inspiration, and for how emblematic it is of Charlotte’s WWE career; much like Thanos collected the Infinity Stones, Charlotte collects titles to cement her legacy as an all-time great. It’s not surprising that this attire is set to be her gear in the upcoming 2k22 game. Thanos is perhaps the most intimidating Marvel villain of all time. Not only is he scary to look at, but he also has the highest kill count in the MCU.

Charlotte’s attire channels both Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet, the weapon he used to wipe out half the universe. The collar of Charlotte’s robe and the gem in the center of the top piece represent the stones in the Infinity Gauntlet. It’s a cool merging of Charlotte’s signature gear style with one of the most infamous comic book villains. Just as Thanos reigned supreme at the end of Marvel’s Infinity War, Charlotte bested Nikki ASH and Rhea Ripley to leave SummerSlam with the Raw Women’s Championship.
